1 Bathroom Close to Bastejkalns and its park, this newly renovated vacation rental is a perfect place to rest after exploring the historic streets of the Old Town Riga. All the major tourist attraction sites like Freedom Monument, House of Blackheads, St. Peter’s Church, Swedish Gate and many more are in a walking distance.
This cozy apartment includes a kitchen with basic cooking equipment (a pan, pot, cutlery, dishes and silverware), bathroom with a shower and a washing machine. The unit comfortably accommodates guests with a new Queen size bed and a single bed. Additionally, Wi-Fi is included. SMART TV connected to the internet, you can use streaming platforms (Rakuten TV, Netflix, Go3, YouTube etc.),
You cannot have a better location - all tourist attractions are just few steps away (Līvu square, Freedom Monument, Cat's House, House of Blackheads, St. Peter's Church etc.). There is a nice, trendy cafe on the first floor of the building, and and many more within walking distance. You can also easily order food to your home by using Wolt services and your dinner will be delivered right to the apartment.
1. Smoking inside the property is strongly prohibited. Penalty for smoking = 200.00 EUR (requested through Airbnb resolution centre). The penalty covers the expenses of ozone generator to remove the odour, as well as the expenses of accommodating the next guests in a different property for 1 night.
Additional fees apply in case if any fabrics (curtains, sofa, rugs etc.) smell and need special treatment/cleaning.
2. No parties or events allowed (penalty fees will apply).
3. Confetti, glitter and balloons are not allowed in the property. Extra cleaning fee will apply if any of those are used in the property..
4. No unregistered guests allowed (penalty fees will apply for every unregistered guest).
5. No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
Apartment is located in the Old Town, facing the inner courtyard. Some noise from the streets might be expected, especially during the tourism season.
Later check-out's are not possible, but there are luggage storage options (contact us for more information).
Heating season in Riga begins when average temperature drops below 8 degrees celsius (usually first week of October, sometimes sooner or later) and ends sometime in April. We have one portable electric heater to heat the place at any time of the year.
Apartment is located on the third floor of the building (1st floor = ground floor), there is no elevator.
PARKING:
Apartment is located in the Old Town where parking is very expensive (up to 8 euros per hour).
However, you can park by Bastejkalns or the Opera house, which is just 1 minute walk from the apartment. It costs 3.00 EUR per hour, it is for free from 20:00-08:00 on weekdays, from 17:00 on Saturdays, and whole Sunday is for free.
There is also underground parking lot Europark Jēkaba Arkāde around the corner (4min walk), which costs 24.00 EUR per 24 hours (00:00-24:00), or underground parking on Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela 5 (8min walk), which cost 12.00 EUR for 24 hours.
