1 Bathroom Savour the tranquillity of this stylish contemporary studio apartment. Located right at the entrance of the Old Town, this apartment is perfect for exploring the cobbled streets.
Within this charming and snug apartment, you'll discover a kitchen featuring basic cooking essentials such as a pot, a pan, dishes, silverware, and an array of cooking utensils.
The bathroom is thoughtfully arranged and comes complete with a refreshing shower to invigorate your senses. It's worth noting that the hot water in the shower takes a few minutes to arrive, so please allow a brief moment for it to reach its soothing temperature. The bedroom is a haven of comfort, boasting a queen-size bed dressed in crisp sheets that promise a restful night's sleep.
For entertainment, a 43-inch smart TV is at your disposal. While there is no cable TV, guests are welcome to use their own profiles on various streaming platforms, providing flexibility in choosing your preferred shows and movies.
Additionally, a tastefully appointed dining table provides a delightful space for enjoying your meals.
Fridge has been changed in June 2023 and is working now.
Some of the many places to see in the neighbourhood are the medieval Riga Dome Square, the beautiful promenade along Latvia’s main river, the Daugava, and Riga’s unique central market — the largest in Europe. A wide variety of cafes, restaurants, bars and nightclubs are just around the corner. The Galerija Centrs shopping centre is nearby and has dozens of fashion chains, boutiques and electronics stores, all right here within Old Riga.
1. Smoking inside the property is strongly prohibited. Penalty for smoking = 200.00 EUR (requested through Airbnb resolution centre). The penalty covers the expenses of ozone generator to remove the odour, as well as the expenses of accommodating the next guests in a different property for 1 night.
Additional fees apply in case if any fabrics (curtains, sofa, rugs etc.) smell and need special treatment/cleaning.
2. No parties or events allowed (penalty fees will apply).
3. Confetti, glitter and balloons are not allowed in the property. Extra cleaning fee will apply if any of those are used in the property..
4. No unregistered guests allowed (penalty fees will apply for every unregistered guest).
5. No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
The windows offer a view of the inner courtyard, which means there is no scenic vista.
Later check-out's are not possible, but there are luggage storage options (contact us for more information).
Occasional buzzing from the ventilation system may be heard, making it less ideal for light sleepers or those sensitive to white noise.
Being situated in a historic building in the Old Town, it takes 2-5 minutes for the water to become hot after turning on the shower tap.
The heating season in Riga typically commences in the first week of October when the average temperature drops below 8 degrees Celsius and lasts until April. A portable electric heater is available for use throughout the year.
PARKING:
Apartment is located in the Old Town where parking is very expensive (up to 8 euros per hour).
However, you can park by Bastejkalns or the Opera house, which is just 1 minute walk from the apartment. It costs 3.00 EUR per hour, it is for free from 20:00-08:00 on weekdays, from 17:00 on Saturdays, and whole Sunday is for free.
There is also underground parking lot Europark Jēkaba Arkāde around the corner (4min walk), which costs 24.00 EUR per 24 hours (00:00-24:00), or underground parking on Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela 5 (8min walk), which cost 12.00 EUR for 24 hours.
