Very nice apartment right in the old town. Has everything for a longer stay. The only issue I had is the noise - you can hear everything that is going on the staircase and directly behind the door, so might be an issue to light sleepers. Otherwise, I had a good stay, definitely recommend.

L'appartement se trouve dans la vieille ville à proximité des restaurants, magasins et autres attractions incontournables de Riga (maison black heads, cat house ou encore le musée de l'occupation). Les hôtes du Airbnb sont disponibles et répondent rapidement. Le logement dispose d'une machine à laver, ce qui est très utile pour ceux qui voyagent légers et est également très propre. Pour un court séjour, je recommande cet hébergement sans hésitation. Petit moins : la lampe au-dessus du lit ne fonctionne pas, le frigo est abîmé, la fenêtre du salon ne ferme pas correctement et l'interrupteur pour la lumière est placé à l'opposé du lit. Certains ustensiles de cuisine étaient également un peu sales et ont dû être nettoyés avant usage.

Great location in the Old Town, close to Lathvian War museum, The Art Museum in Riga Old Bilging of Exchange (DAILĖS MUZIEJUS RYGOS BIRŽOJE) and other sights. We liked the place and the online check-in guide - very helpful,with photos, absolutely clear. The appartments were clear and suitable for two persons (we had two blankets) , we could cook. It wasn`t cold because of the heater. Recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay at Roberts’ place. The room was very cosy and clean and roberts was very responsive. The location was amazing but the only thing I’d have to say would be the building and walk up to the room wasn’t amazing as the lights were faulty at night and I had to use my flashlight on my phone to be able to see where I was going. The room itself was amazing and Roberts was an excellent host. Would definitely be back and recommend going there to others!

The host is very responsive with easy check in instructions and has some great recommendations in his host guidebook. The space is quite big and very comfortable all round with a nice bathroom and kitchen. The location is very very convenient and walkable to all the main areas of the city. There was quite a lot of small flies round the room which we couldn’t seem to get rid of. But this was probably more caused by the previous guests than the host so I do not want to focus on this too much. Overall this is a very good apartment in a brilliant location and for the price you will not get anything better. I would recommend to stay here if you are visiting Riga!

The apartment looks just like on the photos, really cosy. Best of all is of course the location - right in the Old Town, everything is round the corner. Communication with Roberts was also top - he answers right away, is ready to solve any problem. Big thanks for the provided maps for the old city and tips on where to eat. The problems with the shower are still present.Waiting for hot water is not a problem, but the fact that the shower is flooded in about 3 minutes is. Also, the window in the bathroom doesn't open, the ventilation system works for 10 seconds and then switches off. The bathroom stinks of sewage and damp. The biggest disadvantage of this particular apartment is the noise. The ownner does mention a "buzz" from the air conditioner, but it is so much more that a "buzz". It is really loud, about 2-3 times as loud as a regular vacuum-cleaner. So, you can't open windows at night. Also it switches on and off every 10 minutes, which makes it worse. We survived with ear plugs.

En dat voor zo’n lage prijs, bijna te goed om te geloven. De informatie gegeven door de host was duidelijk en hij was heel proactief. Voor gasten die nog komen, de douche heeft even tijd nodig om op te warmen dus van tevoren alvast het water laten lopen.

The apartment was nice and quite clean and the location was great. However, there were a few things that weren’t that perfect. For example, the drain in the shower was very full and didn’t flush but Roberts asked the cleaner to come clean it the next day (it still didn’t work properly but better). The lamps on the wall fell off since they weren’t properly hanging on the wall. There were only liquid for dishes but not for the kitchen surfaces. The fridge was VERY small but luckily we only needed it for three days breakfast stuff… Parking was a little difficult since the street next to Bastejkalna park was always full in the evening/night (because it was free parking at that time). Sometimes we just waited like ten minutes to get a place there. All in all, the accommodation was great and you get what you pay for. Everything worked, more or less, and the self-check in was super easy. We could stay there again :)

Perfekter Ausgangspunkt! Super schnelle Antwort bei Fragen oder Hilfethemen. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und sehr sauber. Preisleistung mehr als Fair. Definitiv einen Aufenthalt wert. Leider gibt es tatsächlich mit der Dusche einige Probleme. Man muss tatsächlich einige Minuten warten bis das Wasser warm wird und dann gibt es nur heiß oder kalt. Und der Wasserdruck ist ziemlich schwach. Ich habe langes und dickes Haar. Ich hätte meine Haare so nicht waschen können. Fazit, für einen kurz Trip ist die Wohnung perfekt aber für einen längeren Zeitraum wäre es für mich mit der Dusche leider nicht machbar gewesen.

This is a good spot right in the heart of old Riga. The place itself was nice and warm. No issues with the hot water in the shower, just had to wait a little as described. I had issues with the internet but Roberts was quick to bring a new router to help. Overall this was a great place to stay.

A really nice place to spend a few nights and days in Riga! The apartment was fairly clean, not perfect but clean enough. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had some basic things to have a tea (an electric kettle) and warm up food (a pan and an induction hob), although a microwave would've been even greater! The bathroom is ok, the hot water supply is really tricky, you really have to let the water run for a good few minutes to get the water hot, which is so wasteful :( but I guess it's an old building thing. The location is really great. I love the Riga old town, so it was an honour to spend time in this beautiful city's heart at such a fair price. The host was very responsive and communicated all the important things beforehand, so the arrival and departure went super smooth :) I can only recommend this place if you're looking for a simple place to spend a few nights in Riga city centre while also paying a fair price.
