1 Bathroom 1 minute from Vērmane Garden, 5 minutes from Central Station, under 10 minutes to Old Town - this studio is well placed for solo travellers or a couple visiting Riga. It's a small space that works hard: a Murphy bed with a comfortable 140x200 mattress folds down from the wall closet at night, and folds away during the day to leave a sofa in its place. Compact, but you get a full living area and a real bed, not a pull-out couch.
This 18 sq. meter (190 sq. feet) apartment includes:
- Murphy bed with comfortable 140x200cm mattress, with pillows and fresh bed linen;
- fast internet;
- dining table, which can be comfortably used as a workspace for home office needs;
- a small kitchen equipped with pots and pans, electric kettle, plates, cutlery, wine glasses, cooking utensils and induction stove. Also includes basic supplies lik salt, pepper, sugar;
- washing machine and drying rack;
- heating during the heating season (early October until late April);
- bathroom with a shower, shower gel, towels and hairdryer;
- iron and ironing board.
Apartment is located just 5 minute walk from the Central Train station and Riga International Bus Station. The Old Town and all main tourist attractions are in walking distance from the apartment (5-7 minute walk). Vērmanes garden is only minute away from the apartment. There are multiple restaurants and bars right around the corner, supermarket just 5 minute walk, as well as the Central Market, where you can get fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, meat and fish only 8 minute walk from the apartment.
1. Smoking inside the property is strongly prohibited. Penalty for smoking = 200.00 EUR (requested through Airbnb resolution centre). The penalty covers the expenses of ozone generator to remove the odour, as well as the expenses of accommodating the next guests in a different property for 1 night.
Additional fees apply in case if any fabrics (curtains, sofa, rugs etc.) smell and need special treatment/cleaning.
2. No parties or events allowed (penalty fees will apply).
3. Confetti, glitter and balloons are not allowed in the property. Extra cleaning fee will apply if any of those are used in the property..
4. No unregistered guests allowed (penalty fees will apply for every unregistered guest).
5. No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
Guests will have full access to entire unit.
There is paid street parking by the building - it costs 3.00 EUR per hour. It is for free from 20:00 - 08:00 on weekdays, from 17:00 on Saturday and whole Sunday is for free.
Origo parking lot, costing 14.00 EUR for 24 hours, is located 5 minute walk from the apartment.
Parking lot on Dzirnavu 111, also 5 minute walk, costs 10 EUR for 24 hours.
Apartment is located on the ground floor of the building (have to climb 1 flight of stairs, just 8 low steps). The window is facing inner courtyard, there is no view, but it protects the apartment from street noise and from heating up in summer sun.
Heating season in Riga is from October until April, with no set dates (depending on temperatures outside). There is no heating during summer.
