The room was super well-located between the old town and the center of Riga, and still in a very calm and quiet street. The room has everything one needs for a short stay in Riga, maybe some extra kitchen tools and pans could be added (but it was satisfactory). The washing machine worked well and there’s a drying rack for clothes too. The main issue was that we were there during very warm days (~25 C) and the cosy room heated up quickly. There was a fan, but it was still very humid - air conditioning would’ve been nice, but I guess it wouldn’t be needed during most of the year! But overall we were very happy and would come back if we were to return!

Uns haben die 7 Nächte sehr gefallen, es war sauber und gemütlich. Sehr gute Anbindung und mit schönem Park in der Nähe! Das Einkaufscenter Origo ist direkt um die Ecke für Einkäufe wie Essen etc. Zu beachten ist nur: es gibt leider keinen Aufzug, Koffer muss hochgetragen werden, als Frau evtl. schwierig wenn niemand helfen kann. Ansonsten eine super Unterkunft! Danke!

Großartig! Super Lage: nur 5 Gehminuten vom Hauptbahnhof, Supermärkte genauso nah. 2 Minuten zu einem schönen Park. Das Freiheitsdenkmal und die Altstadt sind in 7 Minuten erreichbar. Super zum Spazieren, erkunden und joggen, fantastisch mit Hund. Das Apartment ist klein, mehr als 2 Leute passen nicht. Für Alleinreisende perfekt. Alles blitzsauber und sehr freundlich und flexibel! Ich war sehr zufrieden mit der Lage. Einkaufen, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Parks zur Erholung sind alle zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Mehrere Haltestellen von Bus odef Tram sind ebenfalls in der Nähe. Bei Narvesen kann man sehr günstige Tickets dafür kaufen, auch gleich für mehrere Tage. Der Bahnhof ist ebenfalls in der Nähe und ich fand das Zugfahren (Jurmala!) äusserst angenehm und preiswert. (4 Euro, retour!) Drei Punkte, die zu beachten sind: Ich empfehle das Studio eher Einzelpersonen statt Paaren, da es doch sehr klein ist. (Das Bett wäre aber gross genug!) Wer gerne mal selber kocht wird vermutlich Dinge in der Ausstattung vermissen. Der Kühlschrank ist aber angenhm gross! Ich hatte Freude am Vogelgezwitscher (Möven) auf den Dächern draussen, das mich jeden Tag / Abend unterhalten hat. Das ist aber nicht jedermanns Sache. Alles in allem hatte ich einen sehr guten Aufenthalt und schätzte die Sicherheit und Privatsphäre. Zudem ist der Gastgeber freundlich und immer gut erreichbar.

The flat was very warm and retained its warmth even when we turned the heating off and opened the windows. Rauhallinen yksiö hyvällä sijainnilla. Asunnon läheltä löytyy hyvin ravintoloita, kahviloita, kauppoja sekä kauppakeskus ja Riian vanhaankaupunkiin on n. 10 minuutin kävelymarka. Lähellä sijaitsee myös juna-asema ja asunnon läheltä kulkee lukuisia busseja, sekä raitiovaunuja. Asunto itsessään oli hyvä majoittumiseen, pyykinpesukone ja pieni määrä ruuanlaittovälineitä olivat plussaa. Asunto oli kesällä todella lämmin ilman ikkunan auki pitämistä, mutta ikkuna on rauhallisen sisäpihan puolella, joten sitä saattoi pitää auki öisin ilman häiriötä. Asunnosta löytyi myös tuuletin. Kaiken kaikkiaan asunto on loistava valinta kahdelle hengelle.

Great location, close to the old town centre. The host is very responsive and he makes sure that you have everything that you need in your apartment. When I told my guide where to drop me after our trip to Jūrmala, she already knew about this place from other travellers who had been talking about it very positively. My only advice to the future travellers would be to take a facemask with you, especially in the summer when the nights are bright. Other than that, there's nothing I could complain about. ❤️

Apartment was not big, more like a hotel room but had everything and was immaculately clean. Robert was super responsive, and accommodated my bags drop off. Would definitely recommend!

The location of the apartment is perfect, just far enough outside the old town area to be quiet but near enough to walk there in 5-10 minutes. It is quite compact but has everything you will need for a short stay. We didn't do any cooking/eating in the apartment but there was equipment to do so if you wanted to make breakfast or snacks. Everything was clean and in working order, it was perfect for us as we tend to go out early and stay out all day (there is so much to do in Riga, it's easy to spend 3-4 days just exploring all day). We loved Riga and the apartment was exactly right for us. It's similar in size to a budget hotel room, but of course it has a fridge and microwave etc. No TV, but as I said we were out all day so didn't miss having one. If you're looking for somewhere to spend a lot of time inside your room/apartment, this might not be the place for you, but if you just want a comfortable clean place to sleep in and use as a base, it's perfect.

It is really good place. Pluses: very beautiful sunshine from the window (even having a window with a view of the next bulding wall). Sun and lightness in the place is very nice. Also -- there is almost everything that you might need in the apartment: blowdryer, ironer, washing mashine, a cloth dryer rack, comfortable chest of drawers, clothes hangers even. Equipped kitchen as well. Minuses: personally I didnt like the neighborhood -- its beautiful, the Vermane garden next door, but otherwise not much nice places around, while in 15 min walking there is a neighborhood full of nice specialty coffee places etc. It's not on the apartment's host account sure! A few special clubs just across the street (no noise though), so that might be even a plus. I also did not like how the place is quite hard to find, so its not an option to call food delivery easily; and I prefer bigger spaces, this one felt a little like a shoe box (rather beatiful and spacios, but still). I do recommend this place!
