Scaffolding will be installed around the building, including in front of the windows, and you may notice workers on the scaffolding during daytime hours. This stunning 3 bedroom apartment in a gorgeous Art Nouveau building is a blend of classic and contemporary. The Art Deco interior design is both elegant and sophisticated, preserving some of the original features of the building.
The apartment consists of:
- Three bedrooms, each equipped with a Super King Size (200x200) bed, with high quality mattresses and Satin Stripe bedding;
- kitchen fully equipped with modern appliances (induction stove, oven, fridge with a freezer, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster), dishes and cutlery, pans and pots, cooking utensils and cooking basics (oil, salt, pepper);
- bathroom with a shower, toilet and washing machine;
- second WC with a toilet (no shower or bath in the second bathroom);
- large hall connecting all the rooms, with a closet by the entrance;
- read more about the space under each photo.
Apartment is located within a stone’s throw of the major sights, museums and transport connections. The medieval Riga Dome Square is just around the corner. Some of the many places to see in the neighbourhood are the beautiful promenade along Latvia’s main river, the Daugava, and Riga’s unique central market — the largest in Europe. A wide variety of cafes, restaurants, bars and nightclubs are just around the corner. The Galerija Centrs shopping centre is nearby and has dozens of fashion chains, boutiques and electronics stores, all right here within Old Riga.
1. Smoking inside the property is strongly prohibited. Penalty for smoking = 200.00 EUR (requested through Airbnb resolution centre). The penalty covers the expenses of ozone generator to remove the odour, as well as the expenses of accommodating the next guests in a different property for 1 night.
Additional fees apply in case if any fabrics (curtains, sofa, rugs etc.) smell and need special treatment/cleaning.
2. No parties or events allowed (penalty fees will apply).
3. Confetti, glitter and balloons are not allowed in the property. Extra cleaning fee will apply if any of those are used in the property..
4. No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
5. It is also strongly prohibited to have more people than indicated in reservation, except for infants and toddlers. There are security cameras in the building which we will check if we will suspect if more people have entered the apartment. Penalty fee for every extra person entering the apartment is 50 EUR. This mostly applies to people who are in Old Town to party, visit bars and clubs etc. If you are visiting Riga and would like to have a nice dinner with family members or friends who are not staying in the apartment, drop us a message that you will have visitors and the penalty will not apply.
Guests have full access to entire unit
Please note that the apartment is situated on the second floor (1st floor = ground floor, 1 flight of stairs), and there is no elevator in the building. While the climb may require a little extra effort, the stunning views and unique ambiance of this historical setting more than make up for it.
Being right in the heart of Old Town has its perks, as you'll have easy access to the vibrant energy of the area. However, please be aware that some noise from the nearby pubs and restaurants may be audible during the night. Nevertheless, the lively atmosphere also means you'll have plenty of entertainment options right at your doorstep.
Later check-out's are not possible, but there are luggage storage options (contact us for more information).
The heating season in Riga is from October until the first warm days in March/April, so there might be no heating if you visit in April/late September.
The building is located at the beginning of a pedestrian street and there is no parking by the building. There is street parking available within 2 minute walk from the apartment, but it is expensive (up to 8 EUR/h), as it is the Old Town.
There is cheaper street parking within 7-10 minute walk (11. novembra krastmala or Aspazijas Bulvāris) - it costs 3.00 EUR/h, for free from 20:00 - 08:00 on weekdays, from 17:00 on Saturdays, and whole Sunday is for free).
Underground parking lot is also available, located within 10 minute walk (Europark Jēkaba Arkāde). It costs 24 EUR per 24 hours.
Another underground parking is located on Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela 5, it costs 12 EUR per 24 hours.

Location was easy to find and enter and was very clean and welcoming. I loved the tall ceilings and expansive space inside. Recommend staying here 100%

June 2025Apartment was well located in Old Town. Yes it is near a very busy centre and can get noisy at nighttime, especially on the weekends. That being said, we had a 15month old and it didn’t bother him once. The rooms are incredibly large, with super comfortable king size beds in each. There are facade renovations occurring and they commence work during the weekdays at around 8am. The apartment has everything you need. The only friendly criticism we had was there was no lounge to sit down. Hosts are super responsive and instructions to check in are clear and easy. If you have driven a car, you’ll need to shop around for parking. It is expensive in old town, so parking outside of the town would provide cheaper options. Overall, great apartment, great location. We would stay again

We loved exploring especially the local restaurants and a free concert at St Peter’s church. A visit to the extensive market, river trip and a visit to the nearby lake topped off a great few days. Check out the Black Magic cafe nearby and the very helpful roust intonation near the House of the Blackheads

However, the great location does mean the apartment is above a loud and busy street. - as a result, during our stay there was loud music playing into the early hours of the morning.

Host was very responsive and gave clear instructions on checkin, door lock codes, wifi etc. Only downside (which isn’t the hosts fault) is the music played on street speakers by nearby shops, which started very early on in the mornings and was basically played all day.

October 2024The building is a piece of art of the Art Nouveau era. Inside, the unit is modern and neutral. Overall we had a comfortable stay. The main complaint is that it's really noisy. At night there are several bars downstairs that are open to the early hours of the morning, and people drink outside even at the end of October. And the souvenir shop downstairs starts blasting rock & roll at 8:30 am! Earplugs would be truly helpful!

Lett å komme seg til og fra flyplassen med busstopp 5 min unna. Gode senger og flott bad, og kjøkkenet er utstyrt med det du trenger. Vi fikk oppbevare bagasje i leiligheten etter utsjekk så verten er fleksibel og lett å komme i kontakt med via appen. Musikkstøy fra butikken i 1 etg vekket oss på morgenen men det gikk okei. Ikke mulig å åpne vinduer på soverom. Vi vil anbefale denne leiligheten for ei langhelg☺️

Only one missing thing would be a couch for the tv, maybe moving the kitchen table to the corner and adding a small loungy couch. But-all in all. Perfect. August 2024Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit 3 Schlafzimmern. Für uns als Familie mit Kindern zwischen 10 und 14 Jahren ideal als Stützpunkt für Stadt-Sightseeing. Unterkunft toll und sauber. Zugang super geregelt vom Gastgeber. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Einziges Manko: Wer es nachts dunkel mag, muss leider mit dem Schein der Strassenlaternen leben. Die blickdichten Vorhänge in allen Schlafzimmern sind leider hellbeige und halten nicht viel Licht ab. Alle drei Schlafzimmer liegen zur Straße

August 2024Het appartement bevindt zich midden in de oude stad. Echt een fantastische plek! Er is geen parkeerplaats. Betaald parkeren in de buurt. We kregen uitgebreide nstructies van Roberts om binnen te komen. Het is een mooi appartement en alles ziet er nieuw en schoon uit. Fijn. dat er 2 toiletten zijn. De bedden zijn heel goed en alles is aanwezig in de keuken. Daar staat ook een eettafel met stoelen, er is geen bank of lekkere stoel in het appartement. Er is geen raam dat open kan, maar er staan wel ventilatoren in elke slaapkamer. In de slaapkamers is het erg licht, want de lichtjes in de straat branden buiten en er zijn geen verduisteringsgordijnen. Overall hebben we een fijne tijd gehad in Riga.

Kaikki vanhankaupungin palvelut ovat lyhyen kävelymatkan sisällä. Ainoa pieni puute on se että asunto on melko kuuma ilmastointilaitteen puutteen vuoksi. Onneksi makuuhuoneissa on kuitenkin tuulettimet. Kokonaisuudessaan tämä asunto on loistava valinta kun matkustat Riikaan.

Everything was spotless on arrival. To note there is no living area/sofa. A little noisy from the street from the music from the shops directly below and rowdy passers by.

April 2024Die Unterkunft ist wirklich sehr schön. Man hat sehr viel Platz und die Einrichtung ist gut. Leider kann man die Fenster in den Schlafzimmern nicht öffnen und es ist extrem laut. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer Straße mit sehr vielen Bars und die Fenster sind nicht isoliert. Schlafen ist eher nicht möglich.

Location wise you couldn’t get closer to the Old Town, easy walking distance to restaurants, bars & culture attractions. We had a great time in Riga, I highly recommend the Folkklubs for great traditional food & drinks. The airbnb was a real positive to our trip, the check in process was made very easy by Roberts. I recommend staying at Roberts apartment if you’re visiting Riga.
