Nestled within the narrow cobblestone streets, our studio provides the perfect vantage point to immerse yourself in the medieval charm, vibrant culture, and timeless beauty that define Old Town.
The studio is thoughtfully designed to provide a comfortable and welcoming space. A double bed awaits you after a day of exploration, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The dining table is perfect for enjoying meals prepared in the small kitchen, equipped with an electric stove and cooking essentials for whipping up simple yet delicious dishes. The compact fridge allows you to store your favorite snacks and beverages.
The apartment features a closet to neatly organize your belongings, ensuring a clutter-free environment during your stay. The bathroom is equipped with a convenient shower, toilet, and a small sink, providing all the essentials for your daily routine.
Note that there is a bar downstairs, which can be quite noisy, especially on the weekends. We provide earplugs for your comfort.

Situated in the middle of Old Town, our apartment places you right at the center of Riga's rich history and vibrant culture. Step outside, and you'll find yourself immersed in the narrow cobblestone streets, surrounded by medieval architecture, charming cafes, and the enchanting atmosphere of this UNESCO World Heritage site.
Be aware that there is a bar located on the ground floor of the building, so it can get noisy, especially on the weekends. We provide ear plugs for your comfort.
Later check-out's are not possible, but there are luggage storage options (contact us for more information)
The apartment is located on the second floor (first floor = ground floor, one flight of stairs), there is no elevator.
The heating season in Riga is from October until the first warm days in March/April, so there might be no heating if you visit in April/late September.
The building is located at the beginning of a pedestrian street and there is no parking by the building. There is street parking available within 2 minute walk from the apartment, but it is expensive (up to 8 EUR/h), as it is the Old Town.
There is cheaper street parking within 7-10 minute walk (11. novembra krastmala or Aspazijas bulvāris) - it costs 3.00 EUR/h, for free from 20:00 - 08:00 on weekdays, from 17:00 on Saturdays, and whole Sunday is for free).
Underground parking lot is also available, located within 10 minute walk (Europark Jēkaba Arkāde). It costs 24 EUR per 24 hours.
Another underground parking is located on Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela 5, it costs 12 EUR per 24 hours.

August 2025The host was 5/5, responded quickly and was really friendly. The apartment was clean and as shown in the pictures. The only thing that caught my attention was the black seams in the bathroom, mold? Also a vague smell. The apartment had everything I needed, a fridge, a hairdryer, etc. I really liked that it was a short walk from the apartment to everywhere. But as others have said, the noise at night is terrible. There is no proper air conditioning in the apartment, only a fan. The windows could not be kept open at night because of the noise from the bars. But all in all, the apartment served just fine for a few nights, would be better suited for people who plan to party/stay up late.

May 2025The place is just as described. The host has been extremely helpful and responsive. Very clean and in the perfect location, most things are within 10-15min walks, so you can’t get more central than that. However, I would keep in mind that the place is above a bar, so at evening/night time it can get really loud (one night was better than the other for us).

April 2025We had an amazing stay. The apartment's location is top notch! Walking distance to all attractions and good restaurants in the area. Absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway in the heart of old town. There's a bar and restaurant directly under the flat so there might be noise during the night. If you need white noise to sleep like us it would be absolute bliss, but if you need your peace and quiet then it might not be the best place for you ;) The hosts are extremely helpful and responsive to all of our questions and requests. 10/10 would recommend for anyone visiting Riga

April 2025Great location, walkable distance to everything we wanted to see in the old town. Very clean, perfect for myself and my partner. Only issue was that you can hear everything from the street below at night time so if you are a light sleeper it will keep you up. Otherwise great!

The bed was very comfortable, great TV and spotless bathroom. Shower was also very relaxing. Perfect stay for a couple wanting to explore a new city.

February 2025Great location in the center of Old Town Riga, most attractions are a small walk from the Airbnb. On the weekends, the 2 bars below the place are loud, would not recommend to light sleepers. But the space is squeaky clean and it was perfect for us !

It's mentioned in the description about possible noises as it is in the midst of cafes and pubs and restaurants district, but since I had my excellent earplugs it didn't bother me at all! The location is amazing, literally everything important is less than 5 minutes away (if you go in Christmas season, the Christmas market is on the corner). The atmosphere is very nice, yes, there is noise at night but there is nothing that sleeping helmets can't fix) . Really recommend it .

Llegamos cansados de nuestro viaje desde Vilna y no pudimos conciliar el sueño hasta buen adentrada la noche (las 2) cuando cerraron los pubs cercanos. En otro contexto, un viaje más festivo quizás, repetiríamos la experiencia.

October 2024Die von Roberts vermietete Wohnung fanden wir während unseres Aufenthalts in Riga sehr gut. Die Lage war für uns perfekt, sodass wir in kurzer Zeit alles problemlos zu Fuß erreichen konnten. Wir fanden eine sehr ordentliche und nett eingerichtet Wohnung vor. Mit der Anleitung die uns im Vorfeld geschickt wurde war der Check-In sehr einfach. Zu benennen ist, dass sich direkt unter der Wohnung sowie in unmittelbarer Nähe mehrere Bars befinden. Dem entsprechend war auf der Straße bis in die Nacht hinein viel los. Reisende mit leichten Schlaf sollten sich Ohrstöpsel einpacken ;)

The kitchen is well equipped, though there is not much space in the kitchen area, so it might be difficult to actually cook something. The location is great, in the very center of the old town (it might be a bit noisy though).

Host offers laundry within the same building in case you wish to wash towels. Walkable distance to bus and train stations and new part also easily reachable. Worth the price. Will definitely opt for this again should we decide to visit Riga again!

The place is truly in the middle of the old town, which is great to explore the city! :) I have no complaints about the appartment. The possibly only negative point for us was that we are no heavy sleepers, so it can be hard to sleep at night, since the bars stay open until late and the street can become very noisy.

July 2024Die Unterkunft liegt super zentral im Herzen der Altstadt von Riga und bietet einen tollen Startpunkt, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft ist gut. Es ist alles Notwendige vorhanden, dennoch fehlt es teilweise an Komfort, der ohne viel Aufwand nachgerüstet werden könnte, wie zum Beispiel extra Handtücher oder zusätzliche Kissen. Wir waren im Juli dort und es war in der Wohnung sehr warm. Durch die Bar unter dem Fenster ist es in den Abendstunden sehr laut, dies war in der Beschreibung auch angegeben. Da die Läden gegenüber allerdings bereits Morgens laute Musik spielen, gibt es auch ganztägig bei offenem Fenster einen hohen Geräuschpegel.

June 2024Luxuriously renovated small room, the room I booked but definitely not even close to the 23-25 square meters confirmed, much smaller and full of strangely impractical details summing up to some inconvenience! They can all be fixed though... Amazing instructions + guidebook by the host/Roberts, super responsive, thoughtful (umbrellas in the closet!!). Great central location, receiving all the vibes from around, so many choices in every aspect!

June 2024Herzlichen Dank für die angenehme Zeit in dem kleinen, vorteilhaft eingerichteten Appartment mitten in der Altstadt. Tatsächlich war es am Samstag, wie schon einige Gäste berichtet hatten, recht laut in der Nacht, Sonntags war es dann ruhiger. Die Lage war perfekt – fußläufig alles erreichbar! Das komplette Haus ist ästhetisch sehr ansprechend renoviert. Die Bilder geben alles gut wieder.

May 2024The apartment was in a very central location, lots of restaurant and pubs around, lots of beautiful architecture. The apartment was very clean and modern. The only downside was the noise from outside - there were multiple very busy bars and pubs downstairs that were open until 4am on Friday and Saturday playing very loud music.

Die Küche war für zwei Personen gut ausgestattet und die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber verlief schnell, freundlich und unkompliziert. Es wurde wie angekündigt am Wochenende ziemlich laut, aber es wurden Ohrstöpsel bereitgestellt. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt und kommen gern wieder!

March 2024Excellent location. Equipped and clean apartment on the first floor... everything was great, but... Unfortunately, the noise was unbearable from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. from the pub on the ground floor. It's impossible to sleep because very loud music and noise from the street. Every night it's the same, brawls in the street, police intervention, and throwing various objects at the window of our apartment. I can only recommend the apartment to those who want to party all night long.

March 2024Die Wohnung liegt zentral in der Altstadt und bietet ausreichend Platz. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Wie in der Beschreibung geschrieben, liegt die Wohnung überhalb einer Bar. Der Lärm hat sich aber in Grenzen gehalten und wir hatten damit kein Problem. Check In und Check Out waren unkompliziert. Roberts hat auf fragen immer schnell reagiert. Insgesamt ein gelungener Aufenthalt in Riga. Die Wohnung kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

February 2024El alojamiento es tal y como aparece en las fotos. Es chiquito, pero precioso (tiene todo lo que necesitas). Durante el fin de semana (viernes y sábado) las noches son ruidosas (era de esperar, ya que está encima de un bar). El apartamento está en pleno centro, súper cerca de todo. La parada del autobús que te lleva al aeropuerto queda a unos 7 minutos aproximadamente. El anfitrión te da instrucciones muy claras para que llegues allí sin problema.

February 2024This has been one of the cosiest appartements I had until now. The high ceilings mean that the otherwise small room doesn't feel too cramped, the curtains can be used to completely darken the apartment so that you can sleep a few minutes longer in the super-comfortable bed in the morning. Public transport is very easy to reach and the general location is perfect for exploring the old town. Thank you very much, it was a lovely stay.
