Designed with your comfort in mind, the lighting in the apartment has been meticulously crafted to create a calming atmosphere. Immerse yourself in the soothing glow as you unwind in the inviting space. Entertainment is at your fingertips with a smart TV and high-speed internet, while the small kitchen area is equipped with a two-burner induction stove, fridge, dishes, cutlery, and cooking essentials. The Philipps Senseo coffee machine and electric kettle cater to your every need, adding to the overall convenience of your stay.
A dedicated closet ensures clutter-free living, and the modern bathroom provides essential amenities, featuring a shower, toilet, and sink. Additionally, a shared laundry room with a washing machine, dryer, and ironing facilities adds to the practicality of your stay.
Please note that the lively bar downstairs contributes to the vibrant neighborhood atmosphere. To ensure your tranquility, we provide earplugs for any potential noise disturbances.
Situated in the middle of Old Town, our apartment places you right at the center of Riga's rich history and vibrant culture. Step outside, and you'll find yourself immersed in the narrow cobblestone streets, surrounded by medieval architecture, charming cafes, and the enchanting atmosphere of this UNESCO World Heritage site.
1. Smoking inside the property is strongly prohibited. Penalty for smoking = 200.00 EUR (requested through Airbnb resolution centre). The penalty covers the expenses of ozone generator to remove the odour, as well as the expenses of accommodating the next guests in a different property for 1 night.
Additional fees apply in case if any fabrics (curtains, sofa, rugs etc.) smell and need special treatment/cleaning.
2. No parties or events allowed (penalty fees will apply).
3. Confetti, glitter and balloons are not allowed in the property. Extra cleaning fee will apply if any of those are used in the property..
4. No unregistered guests allowed (penalty fees will apply for every unregistered guest).
5. No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
Be aware that there is a bar located on the ground floor of the building, so it can get noisy, especially on the weekends. We provide ear plugs for your comfort.
Later check-out's are not possible, but there are luggage storage options (contact us for more information).
The apartment is located on the second floor (first floor = ground floor, one flight of stairs), there is no elevator.
The heating season in Riga is from October until the first warm days in March/April, so there might be no heating if you visit in April/late September.
The building is located at the beginning of a pedestrian street and there is no parking by the building. There is street parking available within 2 minute walk from the apartment, but it is expensive (up to 8 EUR/h), as it is the Old Town.
There is cheaper street parking within 7-10 minute walk (11. novembra krastmala or Aspazijas bulvāris) - it costs 3.00 EUR/h, for free from 20:00 - 08:00 on weekdays, from 17:00 on Saturdays, and whole Sunday is for free).
Underground parking lot is also available, located within 10 minute walk (Europark Jēkaba Arkāde). It costs 24 EUR per 24 hours.
Another underground parking is located on Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela 5, it costs 12 EUR per 24 hours.
