Scaffolding will be installed around the building, including in front of the windows, and you may notice workers on the scaffolding during daytime hours. Blending classic charm with contemporary comforts, this apartment boasts an interior design that exudes elegance and sophistication.
The apartment offers high-quality furnishings, ensuring a comfortable and luxurious stay for you and your companions. The master bedroom boasts an en suite bathroom with a jacuzzi, providing a private retreat, and also features a desk for your convenience. The second bathroom, equipped with a shower and toilet, serves the other two bedrooms, which are smaller and furnished solely with beds.
While the living room showcases a fireplace, it's not functional, but fear not, as an electric fireplace is available for use. Each of the three bedrooms features a comfortable queen size bed, promising a restful night's sleep after exploring the city. Additionally, the sofa bed in the living room accommodate two extra guests. There is an AC in the living room.
Entertainment options include a large SMART TV in the living room, perfect for streaming your favorite platforms (no cable TV).
For culinary enthusiasts or those who prefer the convenience of home-cooked meals, the well-equipped kitchen awaits. Whip up delicious dishes and gather around the dining table for memorable meals together.
Please note that the apartment is situated on the fifth floor (1st floor = ground floor, 4 flights of stairs), and there is no elevator in the building. While the climb may require a little extra effort, the stunning views and unique ambiance of this historical setting more than make up for it.
Apartment is located within a stone’s throw of the major sights, museums and transport connections. The medieval Riga Dome Square is just around the corner. Some of the many places to see in the neighbourhood are the beautiful promenade along Latvia’s main river, the Daugava, and Riga’s unique central market — the largest in Europe. A wide variety of cafes, restaurants, bars and nightclubs are just around the corner. The Galerija Centrs shopping centre is nearby and has dozens of fashion chains, boutiques and electronics stores, all right here within Old Riga.
1. Smoking inside the property is strongly prohibited. Penalty for smoking = 200.00 EUR (requested through Airbnb resolution centre). The penalty covers the expenses of ozone generator to remove the odour, as well as the expenses of accommodating the next guests in a different property for 1 night.
Additional fees apply in case if any fabrics (curtains, sofa, rugs etc.) smell and need special treatment/cleaning.
2. No parties or events allowed (penalty fees will apply).
3. Confetti, glitter and balloons are not allowed in the property. Extra cleaning fee will apply if any of those are used in the property..
4. No unregistered guests allowed (penalty fees will apply for every unregistered guest).
5. No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
Guests have full access to entire unit

There is a balcony, but we do not provide access it it, as it is not safe to use.
Later check-out's are not possible, but there are luggage storage options (contact us for more information).
Being right in the heart of Old Town has its perks, as you'll have easy access to the vibrant energy of the area. However, please be aware that some noise from the nearby pubs and restaurants may be audible during the night. Nevertheless, the lively atmosphere also means you'll have plenty of entertainment options right at your doorstep.
The heating season in Riga is from October until the first warm days in March/April, so there might be no heating if you visit in April/late September.
The building is located at the beginning of a pedestrian street and there is no parking by the building. There is street parking available within 2 minute walk from the apartment, but it is expensive (up to 8 EUR/h), as it is the Old Town.
There is cheaper street parking within 7-10 minute walk (11. novembra krastmala or Aspazijas bulvāris) - it costs 3.00 EUR/h, for free from 20:00 - 08:00 on weekdays, from 17:00 on Saturdays, and whole Sunday is for free).
Underground parking lot is also available, located within 10 minute walk (Europark Jēkaba Arkāde). It costs 24 EUR per 24 hours.
Another underground parking is located on Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela 5, it costs 12 EUR per 24 hours.

May 2025Beautiful apartment in a beautiful building. Really centrally located so felt like we were always near food, drinks, transport. You could hear music from a neighbouring building in the main room each morning but it didn't bother us at all. Great communication, easy instructions. Overall the place was much better than it looked in the photos and it was the perfect base in Riga for us.

April 2025Very nice apartment. Easy to find and check in using the provided instructions. The neighborhood and the entire old town is nice. Easily walkable, good restaurants and bars. Some noise in the apartment from night revelers in the nearby bars. And, as other reviews have mentioned, the refrigerator is making a rather annoying constant noise. And in case you hadn't noticed: It's on the 5th floor, so you need to be able to handle some stairs.

April 2025Super dejlig lejlighed. Masser af plads og lå lige midt i Old tien, så alt var inden for kort gåafstand. Eneste lille minus, var et køleskab som konstant gav en lille pive-lyd, som var lidt irriterende. Men en lille ting, da alt andet spillede Max!

March 2025L’appartement est fidèle à la description et aux photos. Il se trouve en plein centre ville, proche des bars. Ainsi, c’est un peu bruyant comme indiqué dans la description de l’hôte. Deux bémols : un bip continu dans la cuisine (provenant probablement du frigo) donc boule quiès très fortement recommandé pour celui dormant dans le canapé du salon ainsi que des rideaux non occultants et laissant beaucoup passer la lumière. Sinon très bon séjour, hôte très réactif et entrée flexible.

January 2025Great location in old town Riga. Within walking distance of a whole host of bars and restaurants. The property is well maintained and modernized with great beds and furnishings for a relaxing stay. Do note that it requires walking up 5 flights of stairs (no elevators) so be mindful of how much luggage you plan on bringing with you.

Muuten huoneisto oli oikein tilava ja siisti, kuten kuvauksessa. Rakennus on kaunista art decoa. Saavuimme Omalla autolla. Myöhään illalla keskustaan oli hyvä tulla, mutta aiemmin siellä on vaikea ajaa, koska paljon ihmisiä. Parkkihalli noin 400m päässä asunnolta.

We enjoyed spending half the day in the apartment with no guilt of missing out from seeing the city, because we could see the city from the gorgeous big windows and even just being in the apartment felt like an experience. Loved everything about it.

May 2024Lovely apartment. Very modern and well furnished. Be warned 2 of the bedrooms are small but they have double beds, so that’s all we needed. It is up a lot of stairs, but it will keep you fit! There is some noise from outside but not too bad. I’d happily stay again!
