The neighbourhood
The hotel is located within a stone’s throw of the major sights, museums and transport connections. The medieval Riga Dome Square is just around the corner. Some of the many places to see in the neighbourhood are the beautiful promenade along Latvia’s main river, the Daugava, and Riga’s unique central market — the largest in Europe. A wide variety of cafes, restaurants, bars and nightclubs are just around the corner. The Galerija Centrs shopping centre is only 2 minute walk and has dozens of fashion chains, boutiques, groceries, all right here within Old Riga.

Room is located on the third floor (1st floor = ground floor), there is an elevator in the building. The windows are facing inner courtyard.
PARKING - as the apartment is situated in the middle of Old Town on a very narrow street, parking options are very limited. There is an underground parking lot 500m from the apartment, it costs 24 eur for 24 hours. Nearby street parking costs 3 eur/h.

Great location and beautiful decor. There are minor titbits here and there, that make it fall short from perfect (like the toilet missing a toilet brush). The biggest complaint is the fact that there are pidgeon nestings right outside the window, so early in the morning expect to be woken up by the birds making noise.
Then again, for its price and location, it's still well worth a stay.

Location was great! Roberts was responsive as well and provided clear instructions on how to check in. There were some pigeons that kept flying onto the room's window ledge so it was a little noisy but overall, we had a good experience!
