1 Bathroom With enough space to comfortably accommodate 4 guests, this cozy retreat offers a unique blend of historic charm and modern comfort. As you step inside, you'll immediately be struck by the warm and rustic ambiance. The apartment boasts beautiful hardwood floors, exposed wooden beams, and original old doors that transport you back in time. This is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the rich history of Old Town Riga.
Bedroom & Living Room:
The apartment features a spacious bedroom with a comfortable double bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep for 2 guests. Additionally, the living room offers a sofa bed where 2 more guests can unwind and enjoy a peaceful night's sleep.
Living room also includes a dining table with 4 chairs, which can also be comfortably used as a workspace.
Kitchen:
While the kitchen is minimalistic, it has everything you need to prepare a quick meal or enjoy a leisurely breakfast before exploring the city. Basic cooking equipment is provided, allowing you to savor the local flavors or simply whip up your favorite dishes.
Bathroom:
The bathroom is compact but functional. It includes a shower to freshen up after a day of exploring, a very small sink for your daily routines, and a toilet. It's a no-frills space but provides the essentials to ensure your comfort.
1. Smoking inside the property is strongly prohibited. Penalty for smoking = 200.00 EUR (requested through Airbnb resolution centre). The penalty covers the expenses of ozone generator to remove the odour, as well as the expenses of accommodating the next guests in a different property for 1 night.
Additional fees apply in case if any fabrics (curtains, sofa, rugs etc.) smell and need special treatment/cleaning.
2. No parties or events allowed (penalty fees will apply).
3. Confetti, glitter and balloons are not allowed in the property. Extra cleaning fee will apply if any of those are used in the property..
4. No unregistered guests allowed (penalty fees will apply for every unregistered guest).
5. No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
Situated on the third floor (considering the ground floor as the first) of the building, please note that this apartment does not have an elevator.
The windows offer a view of a peaceful street, ensuring a quiet and serene atmosphere within.
Later check-out's are not possible, but there are luggage storage options (contact us for more information).
In Riga, the heating season typically commences in October, with variations depending on external temperatures, ranging from late September to mid-October, and lasts until spring, concluding around mid-April.
Convenient street parking is available just a brief 2-minute walk from the apartment. The cost is 3 EUR per hour, but it's free during the night hours from 20:00 to 08:00. Additionally, Sundays offer free parking throughout the day.
There is also underground parking lot Europark Jēkaba Arkāde nearby (6min walk), which costs 24.00 EUR per 24 hours (00:00-24:00), or underground parking on Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela 5 (8min walk), which cost 12.00 EUR for 24 hours.

June 2025We had a great stay! The apartment is right in the heart of Riga, with plenty of local food spots just a short walk away. Public transport is very accessible, and it's easy to grab a Bolt or CityBee if you need a car. The location is ideal for exploring the city. The flat was spacious and comfortable, the hosts were helpful and responsive when we needed few extra towels. The place could sleep 4 people, it was only 2 of us staying so plenty of space. During weekdays, the street could be a bit lively in the mornings with few small toursit geoups and the bin truck passing for the daily pick up, but it wasn't a big issue. Most days, we also heard the beautiful chimes of the Doma Church bells (Doma baznīca) - a lovely and authentic touch. The bells ring daily as part of the church's tradition and add to the historic charm of Riga's Old Town. Highly recommend ace for anyone wanting a true Riga eperience!

June 2025Really spacious apartment to stay in the heart of Riga. Very close to public transit, and very walkable. Only complaint was that the hot water didn't last too long so you couldn't do two back to back showers, but not that big of a deal. Overall would recommend for a stay in Riga!

May 2025Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in Riga. alles war wie beschrieben. man wohnt mitten in der Altstadt, es ist aber trotzdem sehr ruhig. lediglich morgens gegen 8 fährt die Müllabfuhr durch die Gassen, das ist aber kaum ein Problem. wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Person, obwohl wir vorher darauf hingewiesen haben, dass das Schlafsofa benötigt wird. Leider ist der Raum vom Schlafsofa ein Durchgangszimmer und nicht abgetrennt. Leider funktionierte das warme Wasser nur bedingt, sodass wir teilweise kalt duschen mussten

December 2024The apartment was nice, looked exactly like in the pictures, was quite warm. Don’t expect anything extra though - the host left us a quarter of toilet paper roll, which is just plain weird, and even though oven is listed as an amenity, there was no baking tray or proper oven pan, only a metal bar thing. No baking sheet either. The water boiling kettle needs either replacing or proper cleaning. The towel holding hook in the bathroom is falling off all the time, there is no fan in the bathroom to use while showering, and no mat on the floor either, so, good luck not getting water everywhere. Overall, fine, functional-ish, but not a place where I would want to come back to over and over again.

November 2024Great communication with the host at all times no matter the hour. Easy to follow hosts instructions for check in. Very helpful that we could leave luggage until 2pm despite 11am checkout. Apartment very warm, amenities as described with extras such as chopsticks. Very well located and a cat cafe nearby coming soon. Only minor flaw would be that there is only 1 very soft small pillow per person, but we understand this is personal preference. 100% would stay again when visiting Riga!

But all in all worth the money.

July 2024The apartment has the perfect location, in the middle of the old town but quiet and very welcoming... It has the good vibe of the old as it is supposed to be in the charming old Riga, but with everything need for a cozy and normal stay. The bed is very comfy and the sofa is good for two more people. All kitchen appliances are sufficient to cover for a nice dinner or breakfast. Great value for money!

The apartment is spacious. The place was very clean. Roberts was very quick to come back to our queries. The surrounding streets can get noisy over the weekend, as there are plenty of nearby restaurants and bars.

June 2024This is a lovely apartment which is quite big for a one-bedroom although the shower room is quite small (this can be seen in the photos). The location is very good being just by the Dome. It is on the quiet side of the square so no street noise. The host is excellent, always responding to queries promptly. Would definitely recommend.
