As you step inside, you'll immediately be struck by the warm and rustic ambiance. The apartment boasts beautiful hardwood floors, exposed wooden beams, and original old doors that transport you back in time. Bedroom & Living Room:
The apartment features a spacious bedroom with a comfortable double bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep for 2 guests. Additionally, the living room offers a sofa bed where 2 more guests can unwind and enjoy a peaceful night's sleep.
Living room also includes a dining table with 4 chairs, which can also be comfortably used as a workspace.
Kitchen:
While the kitchen is minimalistic, it has everything you need to prepare a quick meal or enjoy a leisurely breakfast before exploring the city. Basic cooking equipment is provided, allowing you to savor the local flavors or simply whip up your favorite dishes.
Bathroom:
The bathroom is compact but functional. It includes a shower to freshen up after a day of exploring, a very small sink for your daily routines, and a toilet. It's a no-frills space but provides the essentials to ensure your comfort.
1. Smoking inside the property is strongly prohibited. Penalty for smoking = 200.00 EUR (requested through Airbnb resolution centre). The penalty covers the expenses of ozone generator to remove the odour, as well as the expenses of accommodating the next guests in a different property for 1 night.
Additional fees apply in case if any fabrics (curtains, sofa, rugs etc.) smell and need special treatment/cleaning.
2. No parties or events allowed (penalty fees will apply).
3. Confetti, glitter and balloons are not allowed in the property. Extra cleaning fee will apply if any of those are used in the property..
4. No unregistered guests allowed (penalty fees will apply for every unregistered guest).
5. No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
Situated on the third floor (considering the ground floor as the first) of the building, please note that this apartment does not have an elevator.
The windows offer a view of a peaceful street, ensuring a quiet and serene atmosphere within.
Later check-out's are not possible, but there are luggage storage options (contact us for more information).
In Riga, the heating season typically commences in October, with variations depending on external temperatures, ranging from late September to mid-October, and lasts until spring, concluding around mid-April.
Convenient street parking is available just a brief 2-minute walk from the apartment. The cost is 3 EUR per hour, but it's free during the night hours from 20:00 to 08:00. Additionally, Sundays offer free parking throughout the day.
There is also underground parking lot Europark Jēkaba Arkāde nearby (6min walk), which costs 24.00 EUR per 24 hours (00:00-24:00), or underground parking on Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela 5 (8min walk), which cost 12.00 EUR for 24 hours.
