The freshly renovated apartment has everything you'll need to stay comfortably and safely in the heart of Riga. The space is clean and practical, with fast Wi-Fi, storage, and if you wish to work remotely you can do that too. Bed has an antibacterial mattress. Netflix is also available for free to chill after a busy day of travel. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, silverware, microwave etc. Hair dryer, towels are provided.
Apartment is located just 5 minute walk from the Central Train station and Riga International Bus Station. The Old Town and all main tourist attractions are in walking distance from the apartment (5-10 minute walk). Vērmanes garden is only minute away from the apartment. There are multiple restaurants and bars right around the corner, supermarket just 5 minute walk, as well as the Central Market, where you can get fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, meat and fish only 8 minute walk from the apartment.
Please remember that you’ll be renting out somebody’s home not a hotel room so please treat it with the same care as you would your own home! ? There are some things to note down before booking:
Please leave the place nice and tidy - additional cleaning fee can also be charged for leaving the place excessively dirty.
Please take off your shoes when in the home.
1. Smoking inside the property is strongly prohibited. Penalty for smoking = 200.00 EUR (requested through Airbnb resolution centre). The penalty covers the expenses of ozone generator to remove the odour, as well as the expenses of accommodating the next guests in a different property for 1 night.
Additional fees apply in case if any fabrics (curtains, sofa, rugs etc.) smell and need special treatment/cleaning.
2. No parties or events! For any extra guests apart from the ones registered in the booking, you can be charged an additional penalty fee of 50 EUR per guest per night.
3. Confetti, glitter and balloons are not allowed in the property. Extra cleaning fee will apply if any of those are used in the property..
4. No unregistered guests allowed (penalty fees will apply for every unregistered guest).
5. No illegal substances allowed on the premises.

We offer self check-in. In case of necessity our co-host will surely help you even if you want to just chat or something.
There is paid street parking available by the building. It costs 3.00 EUR/h, it is for free on workdays from 20:00-08:00, on Saturdays from 17:00 and whole Sunday is for free.
You can also use Origo underground parking on Stacijas laukums 4, it costs 14 euros for 24 hours.
Later check-out's are not possible, but there are luggage storage options (contact us for more information).
Apartment is located on the fifth floor of the building (1st floor = ground floor), there is no elevator.

December 2025We first was very dissapointed with the place due to issues in the shower, rusty shampoo soap rack, mold build up, and uncleaned bed. However Ilona was very quick to resolve the issue, she relocated us to another apartment not too far from the one we booked which we love. Location is amazing and convenience. Thank you for arranging a new apartment, appreciate it.

November 2025A localização é perfeita. Proxima as atrações, com um shopping e mercado próximos. A estação de trem e a estação de ônibus também muito próximas, se você vier do aeroporto com o ônibus 22, a parada estará de 5-10 minutos do apartamento. Em relação ao apartamento, o acesso por 4 andares é um pouco cansativo principalmente se estiver com mala grande. São 108 degraus além dos degraus da entrada do prédio. O apartamento é confortável, com ambiente da cozinha e do quarto separados. Porém o mesmo ja esta precisando de algumas melhorias: - no box de tomar banho o suporte de shampoo esta completamente enferrujado; - a porta do box está instalada um pouco estranha, sendo uma dificuldade para entrar e depois fechar a mesma; - o piso na saída do banheiro ja esta todo sem coloração, com indícios de umidade (talvez até por causa da porta do box); - a cama é nota 6. E o cobertor um desastre. Muito pequeno e velho, que para um casal fica um pouco desconfortável; - sem shampoo para banho

November 2025The location was amazing for me and my bf. It is literally in the city centre. It is genuinely worth the expense. However, I lowkey found it a bit dirty especially the sheet. Maybe it’s because the sheet is super white. I could find some dirt on the sheet right after I arrived ;( Also, 5th floor was a bit harsh on me. I wasn’t informed in advance and I had a knee injury. I would never have chosen this accommodation if I knew that it is located on 5th. But overall it would be the best choice if anyone’s priority is location.

November 2025Perfect location - right next to the train station as well as a 5-10 minute walk to the Old Town which has all of the things you'd wanna see in Riga. There are also grocery stores and restaurants right outside of the apartment. The apartment itself had everything I needed for my short stay, would fit two people fine as well. Thanks for having me!

July 2025Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at Ilona’s place. We stayed for 10 days. The apartment is super close to the train station (5 minute walk), to the center, and to many other places like parks and restaurants. Our hosts were extremely helpful, friendly and always responded within minutes. The apartment is very soundproof, we had the windows opened almost 24/7, including nights, and there was no problem. Also, we didn’t hear noise from any neighbors at all. Moreover, we had every kitchen tool available that was needed. Point of feedback; • The apartment is quite small. • We stayed in the apartment in the middle of July, it is quite hot in Rīgā at that time. There was a fan available for us to beat the hot weather, but it didn’t really cool down the apartment. It would be great to have a built in AC. • The bathroom door doesn’t close fully, it’s not soundproof and is see through on the door edges. It was a little uncomfortable. Friendly apartment,kind hosts,close to everything.

July 2025Das Apartment ist modern ausgestattet und sehr ruhig im 5. Stock zum Innenhof hin gelegen. Das Apartment liegt in einem guten Stadtviertel, Bus vor der Tür, zur Strassenbahn nur 200m. Zu einem gepflegten Park sind es nur 200m. Alles in Riga ist vom Apartment zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir haben uns in dem Apartment wohlgefühlt. Leider konnte der Schlafbereich nur sehr begrenzt abgedunkelt werden: Die Vorhänge waren zu klein und die Abdunkelung zu gering. Von der Küche kam das volle Licht weil dort keine Vorhänge vorhanden sind und keine Tür vorhanden ist. Ilona hat reagiert, konnte aber an den Feiertages natürlich nichts ändern. Der Zugang zur Dusche mit einer Drehtür ist leider eine Fehlkonstruktion. Duschen mit geschlossener Drehtür ist nur für sehr schlanke Personen möglich. Anhand des beschädigten Fußbodens im Flur läßt sich schließen das Personen gezwungenermaßen mit offener Tür geduscht haben. Hier sollte unbedingt eine Schiebetür eingebaut werden, ist kein großer Aufwand.

June 2025Had a wonderful stay at Ilona’s place. Always love uncomplicated check-ins. Took bus 22 from Airport to Autoosta Bus stop and 5-10 mins walk to Ilona’s place. Apartment is on 5th floor I think and no elevator. Was not any inconvenience to me but maybe for someone for heavy luggage. Recommended for exploring Riga especially Old town and nearby attractions.

May 2025Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt und möchten uns herzlich bei unserem Gastgeber bedanken. Das Apartment ist schön hell, was wir sehr schätzten. Da es keine Tür zum Schlafzimmer gibt, ist der Raum besonders lichtdurchflutet. Die kleinen Vorhänge im Schlafzimmer decken die Fenster nicht vollständig ab, sodass morgens viel Licht ins Zimmer fällt. Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag betrifft die Bettdecke: Sie ist nur eine dünne Decke, was bei den aktuellen Temperaturen manchmal kalt war. Eine zusätzliche oder dickere Decke wäre eine schöne Ergänzung. Positiv hervorheben möchten wir die gepflegte, moderne Einrichtung sowie die Küche, das Badezimmer und den Eingangsbereich. Im Badezimmer könnte die rostige Halterung für die Duschutensilien eventuell ausgetauscht werden. Ein wichtiger Hinweis für zukünftige Gäste: Das Gebäude hat keinen Aufzug, da die Unterkunft im obersten Stock liegt. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und empfehlen die Unterkunft gerne weiter!

March 2025Ilonas leilighet er veldig koselig og har en fantastisk beliggenhet – midt i sentrum, men likevel stille takket være god lydisolasjon. Leiligheten har alt man trenger for et komfortabelt opphold. Det eneste vi merket, var at avløpet i dusjen var litt tett, men ellers var alt helt fint. Kommunikasjonen med verten var rask og enkel. Vi hadde et flott opphold og vil gjerne komme tilbake!

April 2025Wonderful location and artsy appartment, loved the paintings and the big lamb. Communication with owner was friendly. Point of feedback: - Bathroom does not have a door that is soundproof and partially see through. Felt uncomfortable in a small and quiet space. - blanket was short for two people. All in all I would recommend this place for solo travellers more.
