1 Bathroom Right in the middle of Riga’s Old Town, this apartment sits on one of the city’s busiest pedestrian streets, surrounded by bars, restaurants, and historic sites. It’s a great base for exploring the city on foot and soaking up the local energy — especially in the evenings, when the area comes alive.
The apartment accommodates up to 4 guests. It includes a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a sofa bed. The open-plan living area also features a dining space and a kitchen equipped with an electric stove, microwave, Philips Senseo coffee machine, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, electric kettle, and basic cooking gear (pots, pans, dishes, cutlery).
There’s a smart TV and Wi-Fi for entertainment. The bathroom is compact and includes a shower, sink, toilet, and hairdryer. A separate laundry area has a washing machine, iron, and ironing board for added convenience. The apartment is simple and practical — ideal for travelers who want to stay right in the middle of Riga’s historic center.
Situated in the middle of Old Town, our apartment places you right at the center of Riga's rich history and vibrant culture. Step outside, and you'll find yourself immersed in the narrow cobblestone streets, surrounded by medieval architecture, charming cafes, and the enchanting atmosphere of this UNESCO World Heritage site.
1. Smoking inside the property is strongly prohibited. Penalty for smoking = 200.00 EUR (requested through Airbnb resolution centre). The penalty covers the expenses of ozone generator to remove the odour, as well as the expenses of accommodating the next guests in a different property for 1 night.
Additional fees apply in case if any fabrics (curtains, sofa, rugs etc.) smell and need special treatment/cleaning.
2. No parties or events allowed (penalty fees will apply).
3. Confetti, glitter and balloons are not allowed in the property. Extra cleaning fee will apply if any of those are used in the property..
4. No unregistered guests allowed (penalty fees will apply for every unregistered guest).
5. No illegal substances allowed on the premises
There is a door in the living room which connects to another apartment, which also hosts our guests. The door is safely locked.
Be aware that the apartment is located in the middle of Old Town, so it can get noisy, especially on the weekends.
Later check-out's are not possible, but there are luggage storage options (contact us for more information)
The apartment is located on the second floor (first floor = ground floor, one flight of stairs), there is no elevator.
The heating season in Riga is from October until the first warm days in March/April, so there might be no heating if you visit in April/late September.
The building is located at the beginning of a pedestrian street and there is no parking by the building. There is street parking available within 2 minute walk from the apartment, but it is expensive (up to 8 EUR/h), as it is the Old Town.
There is cheaper street parking within 7-10 minute walk (11. novembra krastmala or Aspazijas bulvāris) - it costs 3.00 EUR/h, for free from 20:00 - 08:00 on weekdays, from 17:00 on Saturdays, and whole Sunday is for free).
Underground parking lot is also available, located within 10 minute walk (Europark Jēkaba Arkāde). It costs 24 EUR per 24 hours.
Another underground parking is located on Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela 5, it costs 12 EUR per 24 hours.

July 2025The apartment was very clean and everything was working perfectly except the drainage for the shower cubicles is clogged and flooded. Alerted the owner immediately not long after check in and was told they will come to fix the next day and asked to leave the keys in the key box. But when we came back the problem was not rectified and did send them a message but to no avail. Its a bit inconvenience and disgusting to see the soap water flooded each time we shower but besides that, everything in the apartment was very good and the apartment was very clean. I just have to leave my honest review on the slight shortcoming for the owner to rectify for their future guests. Thank you

June 2025If in Riga and want walkable old town this is a great option. You can disappear into a quiet apartment yet be yards away from pubs and restaurants.
