Welcome to the Bnbverit booking platform. These Terms of Service ("Terms")
govern your use of our booking platform, through which you can reserve 
apartments directly and pay securely via credit card using the Stripe payment
processor. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Booking and Payment

1.1 Direct Booking
You can book any available apartment listed on our platform directly.

1.2 Payment
100% of the booking amount is due at the time of booking and must be paid
via credit card through Stripe, our secure payment processor partner. Bookings
are not confirmed until full payment is received.

1.3 Booking Confirmation
After successful payment, you will receive a confirmation email with booking
details at the email address you provided.

2. Check-in and Check-out

2.1 Check-in Time
Standard check-in time is from 15:00 (3:00 PM). Some properties may have a
later check-in time starting at 16:00 (4:00 PM); this will be clearly indicated in
the property description.

2.2 Check-in Form
Before arrival, the main guest will be required to complete a check-in form, 
which will be sent via email. This form must be completed prior to check-in
and includes the following required information:

• Full name (first name and surname)

• Phone number (must include country code, e.g., +371)

• Email address

All personal data collected will be stored securely and in compliance with the
EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This information will be used
strictly for booking and identity verification purposes and will not be shared
with third parties.

2.3 Check-out Time
Check-out is by 11:00 (11:00 AM). Late check-outs are not permitted under
any circumstances, as we require sufficient time to prepare the apartment for
the next guests. Please ensure you vacate the property by the stated time.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Standard Cancellation
You may cancel your reservation up to 30 days prior to check-in to receive a
100% refund.

3.2 Late Cancellation
Cancellations made less than 30 days before check-in are non-refundable.
However, we understand that circumstances can change — if you need
assistance, please contact us at info@bnbverit.com.

4. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are expected to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information during the booking process.

• Follow all property-specific rules and guidelines provided at check-in
  or listed online.

• Refrain from unauthorized parties, smoking (unless explicitly permitted),
  and any illegal activities.

• Take full responsibility for any damage caused during their stay.

5. Liability and Damage Policy

5.1 General Liability
SIA Bnbverit is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage suffered
during your stay, except where such damage is the result of our gross negligence
or willful misconduct. We are not liable for disruptions caused by unforeseen
circumstances, including but not limited to power outages, construction noise,
or force majeure events.

5.2 Guest Liability for Damages
By confirming a booking, you acknowledge and accept the following terms regarding
potential damages and penalties:

• Authorization of Charges: You authorize Bnbverit SIA to charge your credit
  card via Stripe, or issue an invoice if the reservation was paid via bank transfer,
  for any damages or violations in accordance with the following terms.

• Damage Assessment: The cost of damages will be determined by a licensed
  construction company registered in Latvia. You agree to be liable for the full
  amount of repair or replacement as indicated in the issued invoice.

• Smoking Fee: A flat fee of €200 will be charged for unauthorized smoking
  inside the apartment or room to cover the cost of additional cleaning
  and deodorizing.

• Item Damage: Any damaged items will be charged at their actual
  replacement value.

• Extra Cleaning: If professional cleaning is required for sofas, curtains, walls,
  or similar, you will be liable for the full amount of the professional cleaning
  invoice plus an additional €50 management fee for arranging the service.

• Third-Party Damages: Any damages caused to third parties (e.g., neighboring
  apartments, common areas) will be charged based on the actual invoiced amount
  received from the affected party or service provider, plus a €50 management fee.

We reserve the right to collect these charges after your departure once the damage or
violation has been verified and documented.

6. Use of the Platform

You agree not to misuse our platform. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the platform

• Introducing malicious software or harmful code

• Scraping or copying any content from the site without written permission

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate access to the platform
for any misuse or violation of these Terms.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on
our website with the applicable effective date. Continued use of the platform
after any changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any disputes
shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Latvia.
