1 Bathroom Located on the fifth floor of a freshly renovated historic building at the edge of Riga’s Old Town, this stylish 1-bedroom apartment offers beautiful views of the Daugava River and the iconic Central Market. Just a 5-minute walk to the Central Market, central train station, and international bus station, with public transport to and from the airport right around the corner, the location is ideal for exploring Riga.
This bright and thoughtfully designed apartment comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests. It features a separate bedroom with a cozy double bed, and a spacious living room with a sofa bed that sleeps two. The modern interior includes a SMART TV, fast Wi-Fi, a dining table, and a fully equipped kitchenette with an induction hob, microwave, fridge with freezer, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, kettle, pan, and basic cooking essentials.
The bathroom includes a walk-in shower, toilet, sink, and hairdryer. An iron and ironing board are also available for your convenience.
Please note: the apartment is on the 5th floor of a historic building with no elevator—be prepared for a climb and enjoy the reward of panoramic views.
Our building is located on the edge of Riga’s Old Town — still within the historic center, just steps from the Daugava River, Central Market, and major city sights. The bus and central train stations are only a short walk away, making it easy to explore further. While the location offers unbeatable access to Old Town charm and modern conveniences, please note that it is next to one of the city’s main streets, so some street noise may be present. Perfect for travelers who want to be close to everything Riga has to offer.
1. Smoking inside the property is strongly prohibited. Penalty for smoking = 200.00 EUR (requested through Airbnb resolution centre). The penalty covers the expenses of ozone generator to remove the odour, as well as the expenses of accommodating the next guests in a different property for 1 night.
Additional fees apply in case if any fabrics (curtains, sofa, rugs etc.) smell and need special treatment/cleaning.
2. No parties or events allowed (penalty fees will apply).
3. Confetti, glitter and balloons are not allowed in the property. Extra cleaning fee will apply if any of those are used in the property..
4. No unregistered guests allowed (penalty fees will apply for every unregistered guest).
5. No illegal substances allowed on the premises
Late check-outs are not possible, but luggage storage options are available nearby—just reach out for details.
The heating season in Riga typically runs from October through early spring. If visiting in April or late September, central heating may not yet be active.

Street parking next to the building is available but expensive (up to €8/hour).

December 2025We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The apartment was fresh, clean and perfectly located — just a short walk from the Christmas market and the Old Town. Everything was exactly as described and made our visit very comfortable. The only downside was that the bathroom was a bit cold, but otherwise everything was great. Would definitely stay here again! ?✨

A única coisa que não prestamos atenção é que o prédio não tem elevador e nosso apartamento estava no 5° andar, tirando isso o resto foi perfeito. Achamos mais espaçoso do que nas fotos. Decoração perfeita e tudo muito confortável. Está do lado de tudo que você precisa fazer, ver e comer! amamos Riga!

Die Ausstattung liess keine Wünsche offen, wir konnten eine tolle Aussicht geniessen, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sollten wir noch einmal nach Riga kommen, würden wir wieder hier übernachten wollen. October 2025This was the perfect place to stay for me. It was a very short walk into Old Town and to the train station so everything was accessible. The building was quiet and peaceful. I loved the view of the river and had fun looking at the Central Market as well. The apartment itself is a bit austere but it was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. It is a walk up five flights of stairs but for me that was just fine. I would definitely stay again.

July 2025We loved staying at the apartment. It is located very central, the apartment was spacious, clean and felt comfortable. Everything is in walking distance and the apartment is a nice starting point for exploring Riga. It was perfect for our stay, but light sleepers have to watch out if easily disturbed by noise. The apartment is close to the central train station and a multi lane road which is quite heavily frequented even during the night (we visited in summer and had to keep the windows open during the night).
