1 Bathroom Located on the 4th floor of a freshly renovated historic building at the edge of Riga’s Old Town, this studio apartment offers everything needed for a comfortable city stay. The Central Market, central train and international bus stations are all within a 5-minute walk. Public transport to and from the airport is just around the corner.
The apartment is designed for two guests and features a modern interior with thoughtful details: a comfortable bed, SMART TV, fast Wi-Fi, a dining table for two, and a fully equipped kitchenette (including induction hob, microwave, fridge with freezer, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, kettle, a pan, and cooking essentials).
The bathroom includes a walk-in shower, toilet, sink, hairdryer, and there's also an iron and ironing board.
Please note: the apartment is on the 4th floor and the building has no elevator—be ready to climb!
Our building is located on the edge of Riga’s Old Town — still within the historic center, just steps from the Daugava River, Central Market, and major city sights. The bus and central train stations are only a short walk away, making it easy to explore further. While the location offers unbeatable access to Old Town charm and modern conveniences, please note that it is next to one of the city’s main streets, so some street noise may be present. Perfect for travelers who want to be close to everything Riga has to offer.
1. Smoking inside the property is strongly prohibited. Penalty for smoking = 200.00 EUR (requested through Airbnb resolution centre). The penalty covers the expenses of ozone generator to remove the odour, as well as the expenses of accommodating the next guests in a different property for 1 night.
Additional fees apply in case if any fabrics (curtains, sofa, rugs etc.) smell and need special treatment/cleaning.
2. No parties or events allowed (penalty fees will apply).
3. Confetti, glitter and balloons are not allowed in the property. Extra cleaning fee will apply if any of those are used in the property..
4. No unregistered guests allowed (penalty fees will apply for every unregistered guest).
5. No illegal substances allowed on the premises
Later check-out's are not possible, but there are luggage storage options (contact us for more information).
The apartment is located on the fourth floor (first floor = ground floor, three flights of stairs), there is no elevator.
The heating season in Riga is from October until the first warm days in March/April, so there might be no heating if you visit in April/late September.
PARKING:
There is street parking available next to the building, but it is expensive (up to 8 EUR/h), as it is the Old Town. Parking lots in Old Town are also rather expensive (30+ EUR/day).
There is cheaper street parking within 4-10 minute walk (11. novembra krastmala or Aspazijas bulvāris) - it costs 3.00 EUR/h, for free from 20:00 - 08:00 on weekdays, from 17:00 on Saturdays, and whole Sunday is for free).
Underground parking lot is also available, located within 10 minute walk (Origo underground parking). It costs 14 EUR per 24 hours.

October 2025Viena no labākajām un mājīgākajām vietām Vecrīgā, kur esmu palikusi. Ērta lokācija, brīnišķīgs skats, tīrs un atbilstošs cenai. Lai gan dzīvoklis ir tuvu ceļam un dzelzceļam, ielas troksnis bija pavisam neliels un tā nebija problēma. Laba skaņu izolācija - arī kaimiņus nedzirdēju. Jārēķinās, ka ēkā nav lifts.

August 2025The apartment was super clean and tidy! Location was excellent, walking distance to Riga Old Town, the view from the windows was beatiful, you can see the river and the massive radio mast. Also just a few hundred meters to the international bus station. The kitchen had basic necessities to make a simple meal for two. On warmer days the apartment does get quite hot as there is no AC, just a standing fan to circulate the air. The apartment windows face a busy street where a lot of traffic noise can be heard, however by closing the windows and curtains we weren't bothered at all, also with the curtains you can blind the apartment completely even on sunny days, so we slept great here. There is no elevator to the upper floors, so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. They had very good and detailed instructions on how to get from the aiport to the apartment!

In general everything was great, though the flat can get hot easily, since it doesn’t have air conditioning. Also a note: if you’re a very light sleeper, the place might not be for you, because it is right next to a busy street.

L'appartement est situé à l'angle d'un carrefour, il est donc assez bruyant (même si le bruit diminue nettement pendant la nuit, ce qui permet tout de même de dormir sans souci). En résumé : un beau pied à terre pour explorer la ville mais pas vraiment pour faire la grasse matinée.

July 2025It's a great apartment with a nice view of the river and everything in walkable distance, I was very pleased with my stay. However as other reviews have pointed out, it gets very warm during the summer and because it is right next to a busy street + tram, you can't really open the windows if you are trying to sleep. There is a fan provided so for me it worked out but do be aware of that when booking. I loved always being able to see the river.

July 2025Nice modern place! Good value for money and nice view despite the main road next to it. Short walk to bus & railroad station as well as the old town. Only fault was the lack of AC, as the apartment was really hot, which made the sleeping challenging. There was a smaller movable fan, but it didn't save the situation. Would benefit from a proper AC during hot summer season.

Meidät myös päästettiin kirjautumaan ajoissa sisään kun voin huonosti – kiitos siitä. ☺️ Näin heinäkuussa asunnossa oli todella kuuma eikä ikkunoita voinut pitää meluisan liikenteen takia auki, mutta se ei ole majoittajan vika. Tuuletin tai ilmastointilaite olisi kuitenkin jatkossa iso plussa. Asunto oli myös hyvin siisti lukuunottamatta kylpyhuoneen tukossa olevaa lattiakaivoa, jonka takia suihkuvedet meinasivat valua huoneen puolelle.

July 2025Vaikka kohde sijaitsee vilkkaan risteyksen vieressä, ei äänet haitanneet ainakaan meitä. Toki herkkäunisempaa ne saattaa haitata. Koko rappu on pelkästään airbnb asuntoja mutta silti oli erittäin rauhallista eikä häiriötä muista asukkaista ollut koskaan. Majoittaja vastaa yleensä nopeasti, ja asiat hoituvat mallikkaasti. Sijaintina mielestäni loistava. Kävelymatkan päässä ostoskeskuksesta, juna-asemasta ja vanhastakaupungista. Hinta ja laatu kohtaavat tässä täydellisesti!

June 2025This apartment on the edge of Riga’s Old Town is a perfect landing spot for a solo traveler or couple. It’s very close to public transit, including the bus to the airport, and is walkable to the main attractions. The flat itself is cozy, clean, light, and airy with windows looking out toward the river and bridges. It’s located on the fourth floor, so you’ll need to carry your luggage up three flights of stairs, but they’re wide and easy to navigate. Check-in was so convenient with a key code for the building and key box as well. The host was responsive and extremely helpful with questions such as finding paid parking lots in the area. There is no hesitation in recommending this lovely airbnb.
