Located next to St. John’s Cathedral and just steps from St. Peter’s Church, the apartment sits in the very center of Riga’s Old Town. A cozy café and a souvenir shop are right on the ground floor. Galerija Centrs shopping center is just a minute away, offering a RIMI grocery store, clothing and cosmetics shops, and several restaurants on the top floor. All major sights, dining spots, and transport links—including the central train and international bus stations—are within a 10-minute walk.
1. Smoking inside the property is strongly prohibited. Penalty for smoking = 200.00 EUR (requested through Airbnb resolution centre). The penalty covers the expenses of ozone generator to remove the odour, as well as the expenses of accommodating the next guests in a different property for 1 night.
Additional fees apply in case if any fabrics (curtains, sofa, rugs etc.) smell and need special treatment/cleaning.
2. No parties or events allowed (penalty fees will apply).
3. Confetti, glitter and balloons are not allowed in the property. Extra cleaning fee will apply if any of those are used in the property..
4. No unregistered guests allowed (penalty fees will apply for every unregistered guest).
5. No illegal substances allowed on the premises
The apartment is located in a historic building. While the apartment itself is renovated, the stairway to the apartment has seen better days.
Later check-out's are not possible, but there are luggage storage options (contact us for more information)
The apartment is located on the third floor (first floor = ground floor, two flights of stairs), there is no elevator.
The heating season in Riga is from October until the first warm days in March/April, so there might be no heating if you visit in April/late September.
The building is located at the beginning of a pedestrian street and there is no parking by the building. There is street parking available within 2 minute walk from the apartment, but it is expensive (up to 8 EUR/h), as it is the Old Town.
There is cheaper street parking within 7-10 minute walk (11. novembra krastmala or Aspazijas bulvāris) - it costs 3.00 EUR/h, for free from 20:00 - 08:00 on weekdays, from 17:00 on Saturdays, and whole Sunday is for free).
Underground parking lot is also available, located within 10 minute walk (Europark Jēkaba Arkāde). It costs 24 EUR per 24 hours.
Another underground parking is located on Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela 5, it costs 12 EUR per 24 hours.
