1 Bathroom In the middle of Riga’s Old Town, beyond the rhythm of the city streets, this apartment offers a rare sense of calm and elegance. Housed in a heritage building and framed by an inner courtyard, the interior is a considered blend of classical form and modern comfort. With its ornate details, rich textures, and subtle palette, the space reflects both the history of its surroundings and the ease of contemporary living.
This tastefully decorated apartment features two serene bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed and ample closet space. The open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area is equipped with all modern conveniences: stove, oven, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, electric kettle, Philips Senseo coffee machine, dishes, cutlery, and cooking basics. Smart TV and Wi-Fi is available. The bathroom includes a bath (no shower), sink, toilet, hairdryer, iron, and ironing board.
Located in a peaceful inner courtyard of Riga’s Old Town, the apartment is just steps away from all major sights, the central station, the international bus station, and public transport links. Cafes, restaurants, and the Galleria Centrs shopping mall are just a 2-minute walk away.
1. Smoking inside the property is strongly prohibited. Penalty for smoking = 200.00 EUR (requested through Airbnb resolution centre). The penalty covers the expenses of ozone generator to remove the odour, as well as the expenses of accommodating the next guests in a different property for 1 night.
Additional fees apply in case if any fabrics (curtains, sofa, rugs etc.) smell and need special treatment/cleaning.
2. No parties or events allowed (penalty fees will apply).
3. Confetti, glitter and balloons are not allowed in the property. Extra cleaning fee will apply if any of those are used in the property..
4. No unregistered guests allowed (penalty fees will apply for every unregistered guest).
5. No illegal substances allowed on the premises
Later check-out's are not possible, but there are luggage storage options (contact us for more information)
The apartment is located on the second floor (first floor = ground floor, one flight of stairs), there is no elevator.
The heating season in Riga is from October until the first warm days in March/April, so there might be no heating if you visit in April/late September.
The building is located on a narrow Old Town street and there is no parking by the building. There is street parking available within 2 minute walk from the apartment, but it is expensive (up to 8 EUR/h), as it is the Old Town.
There is cheaper street parking within 5-10 minute walk (11. novembra krastmala or Aspazijas bulvāris) - it costs 3.00 EUR/h, for free from 20:00 - 08:00 on weekdays, from 17:00 on Saturdays, and whole Sunday is for free).
Underground parking lot is also available, located within 10 minute walk (Europark Jēkaba Arkāde). It costs 24 EUR per 24 hours.
Another underground parking is located on Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela 5, it costs 12 EUR per 24 hours.
