1 Bathroom Located in Riga’s historic Old Town, this studio loft offers a quiet retreat just steps from the city’s vibrant streets, cafes, and landmarks. Thoughtfully designed for short or longer stays, it includes a fully equipped kitchen, smart TV, Wi-Fi, and space for up to four guests. Ideal for travelers who value character, comfort, and a central location.
Inside, the space is designed to make the most of its layout, with a regular double bed and a second double mattress on the loft level, sleeping up to four. The kitchen includes cooking basics, an induction stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, and Philips Senseo coffee machine. There’s a dining table for four, smart TV, Wi-Fi, bathroom with shower, a hairdryer and an iron.
Our building is located on the edge of Riga’s Old Town — still within the historic center, just steps from the Daugava River, Central Market, and major city sights. The bus and central train stations are only a short walk away, making it easy to explore further. While the location offers unbeatable access to Old Town charm and modern conveniences, please note that it is next to one of the city’s main streets, so some street noise may be present. Perfect for travelers who want to be close to everything Riga has to offer.
1. Smoking inside the property is strongly prohibited. Penalty for smoking = 200.00 EUR (requested through Airbnb resolution centre). The penalty covers the expenses of ozone generator to remove the odour, as well as the expenses of accommodating the next guests in a different property for 1 night.
Additional fees apply in case if any fabrics (curtains, sofa, rugs etc.) smell and need special treatment/cleaning.
2. No parties or events allowed (penalty fees will apply).
3. Confetti, glitter and balloons are not allowed in the property. Extra cleaning fee will apply if any of those are used in the property..
4. No unregistered guests allowed (penalty fees will apply for every unregistered guest).
5. No illegal substances allowed on the premises
Later check-out's are not possible, but there are luggage storage options (contact us for more information).
The apartment is located on the third floor (first floor = ground floor, two flights of stairs), there is no elevator.
The heating season in Riga is from October until the first warm days in March/April, so there might be no heating if you visit in April/late September.
PARKING:
There is street parking available next to the building, but it is expensive (up to 8 EUR/h), as it is the Old Town. Parking lots in Old Town are also rather expensive (30+ EUR/day).
There is cheaper street parking within 4-10 minute walk (11. novembra krastmala or Aspazijas bulvāris) - it costs 3.00 EUR/h, for free from 20:00 - 08:00 on weekdays, from 17:00 on Saturdays, and whole Sunday is for free).
Underground parking lot is also available, located within 10 minute walk (Origo underground parking). It costs 14 EUR per 24 hours.

December 2025We stayed in this apartment for five nights. It's nicely renovated and furnished. It's clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was the nearby tram and train tracks. The noise can be a bit disruptive if you sleep in the living room. If you sleep in the bedroom, it's nice.

September 2025Very pleasantly surprised, considering it was a newer listing. Everything working well and spotless. Clearly a newly renovated place, whole building in fact, I thought it had been tastefully designed. Luckily very quiet, both from good double glazed windows but the bedroom also faces the inner courtyard. No lift so be prepared to climb. Only 1 gripe, but common in this area of the world, was just 2 small duvets on the bed rather than 1 large one. Would stay again.

August 2025I absolutely loved staying here, the flat is beautiful, modern and very spacious and the location is perfect. Couple things to bear in mind: it is located on the third floor with no lift and when the windows are open, it can be quite noisy as there is tram line just underneath, also train and busy road runs near by. I personally did not mind it too much, in fact I loved watching the trains run by when it got dark in the evenings. The bedroom is located on the courtyard side so it was very peaceful and quiet. All positive aside from the fact that there was no iron and could do with providing more basics such as salt, oil and coffee pods.

August 2025Perfect location, very close to restaurants, city center, station and public transport. The instructions to find the appartement and to get in were provided in advance. Check-in was flexible via keybox. Besides this the appartement was very modern and clean and had good matresses ;-). I can highly recommend it for a Riga visit.

June 2025I appreciated most everything about this property. (1) It is very close to public transportation. (2) It is easy to walk to the main attractions especially those in Old Town. (3) It has a nice view looking out towards the river and bridges. (4) It was clean, tidy, and airy. (5) The stairs are wide and easy to navigate. (6) The use of a keypad to enter the building and a keybox for the apartment key were very convenient. (7) The wifi was dependable. I would definitely stay again.
