1 Bathroom This ground-floor loft studio in Riga’s Old Town immerses you in the city’s historic charm, just steps from cafes and landmarks. Perfect for up to four guests who want to be at the heart of the action—but note: it’s not a quiet retreat. Windows face a street, with occasional pedestrians and tram passing nearby. Some street noise is expected, making it ideal for travelers who prioritize location over silence.
Inside, the space features a double bed on the main level and a second double mattress in the loft area, ideal for couples or small groups. The kitchen includes an induction stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, and a Philips Senseo coffee machine. There’s a dining table for two, smart TV, Wi-Fi, and a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, and iron. Perfect for travelers who value a central location and authentic city feel more than complete quiet.
Our building is located on the edge of Riga’s Old Town — still within the historic center, just steps from the Daugava River, Central Market, and major city sights. The bus and central train stations are only a short walk away, making it easy to explore further. While the location offers unbeatable access to Old Town charm and modern conveniences, please note that it is next to one of the city’s main streets, so some street noise may be present. Perfect for travelers who want to be close to everything Riga has to offer.
1. Smoking inside the property is strongly prohibited. Penalty for smoking = 200.00 EUR (requested through Airbnb resolution center). The penalty covers the expenses of ozone generators to remove the odor, as well as the expenses of accommodating the next guests in a different property for 1 night.
Additional fees apply in case any fabrics (curtains, sofa, rugs etc.) smell and need special treatment/cleaning.
2. No parties or events allowed (penalty fees will apply).
3. Confetti, glitter and balloons are not allowed in the property. Extra cleaning fee will apply if any of those are used in the property.
4. No unregistered guests allowed (penalty fees will apply for every unregistered guest).
5. No illegal substances allowed on the premises
Later check-outs are not possible, but there are luggage storage options (contact us for more information).
The apartment is located on the ground floor right next to the tram tracks, so it can get noisy.
The heating season in Riga is from October until the first warm days in March/April, so there might be no heating if you visit in April/late September.
PARKING:
There is street parking available next to the building, but it is expensive (up to 8 EUR/h), as it is the Old Town. Parking lots in the Old Town are also rather expensive (30+ EUR/day).
There is cheaper street parking within 4–10-minute walk (11. novembra krastmala or Aspazijas bulvāris) - it costs 3.00 EUR/h, for free from 20:00 - 08:00 on weekdays, from 17:00 on Saturdays, and whole Sunday is for free).
An underground parking lot is also available, located within 10-minute walk (Origo underground parking). It costs 14 EUR per 24 hours.

December 2025Everything was great — we found everything we needed, the location was wonderful, and the apartment was warm and beautiful. Although the description warn about noise, it didn’t bother us at all, and the tram passing by the windows even added some charm. The only small downside is that the curtains are a bit narrow and don’t fully cover the windows.

The interior is wonderful—cozy, charming, functional, and very convenient. The tram passing nearby only adds to the charm of the old town. The people are a delight to communicate with, and overall this Airbnb truly deserves the highest praise!

September 2025Hyvällä paikalla vanhan kapupungin vieressä. Päivisin ratikoiden ääni kuului sisälle, jotka menivät aivan ikkunan vierestä. Yöllä ratikat ei kulkeneet, joten sai hyvin nukuttua. Ikkunoista kuitenkin näkyi suoraan kadulle.

August 2025Great place and convenient location, the only issue is that it is very loud outside (tram stops a meter outside of the windows and the pavement is right by it). No fault of the host just a fact so bring earplugs if you want to stay

July 2025Perfect location and close to public transport. Bit noisy because of the traffic as mentioned, but manageable with earplugs. The place itself is calm and quiet. Airconditioning would make the place perfect.
