Set at the very top of a historic Old Town building, this two-bedroom apartment fits up to 5 guests and opens into a light-filled dining area with a courtyard view of tiled rooftops. The elevator goes only to the 4th floor — you’ll need to climb one more flight on foot. With sloped ceilings and a low roofline, it's best suited for guests up to 185 cm tall. There is AC in the living room, but not in the bedrooms (portable fans available instead).

The main room is bright and compact, with a soft sofa and a round dining table set beside large windows that face a quiet inner courtyard. Light pours in during the day, giving this space an airy feel despite its modest size. Smart TV and Wi-Fi.

The neighbourhood

The apartment is located within a stone’s throw of the major sights, museums, and transport connections. The St. Peter's Church with its view tower is just around the corner. Some of the many places to see in the neighborhood are the beautiful promenade along Latvia’s main river, the Daugava, and Riga’s unique central market — the largest in Europe. A wide variety of cafes, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs are just around the corner. The Galerija Centrs shopping center is only 1-minute walk and has dozens of fashion chains, boutiques, and groceries, all right here within Old Riga.

House rules

Smoking inside the property is strongly prohibited. Penalty for smoking = 200.00 EUR (requested through Airbnb resolution centre). The penalty covers the expenses of ozone generator to remove the odour, as well as the expenses of accommodating the next guests in a different property for 1 night.
Additional fees apply in case if any fabrics (curtains, sofa, rugs etc.) smell and need special treatment/cleaning.

Other things to note

The apartment is located on the 5th floor.
While there is an elevator in the building, it only goes up to the 4th floor, which means you will have to climb one floor up by using stairs.

AC is available only in the living room. There are portable fans available in the bedrooms.

PARKING:
As the apartment is located in the Old Town, you should park your car somewhere outside the Old Town.

We recommend:

Street parking by the National Opera, 3 minute walk from the apartment (3 EUR/h, for free from 20:00-08:00, whole Sunday is for free).

Origo underground parking on Satekles iela 2, 10 minute walk from the apartment (14 euros for 24 hours).

Rīgas Satiksme underground parking on Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela 5, 12 minute walk from the apartment (12 euros for 24 hours).
