Set on the 4th floor with no elevator, this quiet courtyard-facing studio is designed for two guests seeking simplicity and calm. Recently renovated, it offers a peaceful interior away from street noise while maintaining quick access to the Central Station, market halls and the Old Town’s main routes.
The space
The studio includes:
- 160 cm double bed
- Kitchenette with portable electric stove, microwave, kettle, French press and essentials
- Smart TV and WiFi
- Bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, hairdryer
- Washer–dryer and ironing setup in the communal area (shared with our other 6 apartments)
The neighbourhood
Apartment is located just 5 minute walk from the Central Train station and Riga International Bus Station. The Old Town and all main tourist attractions are in walking distance from the apartment (5-7 minute walk). Vērmanes garden is only minute away from the apartment. There are multiple restaurants and bars right around the corner, supermarket just 5 minute walk, as well as the Central Market, where you can get fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, meat and fish only 8 minute walk from the apartment.
House rules
1. Smoking inside the property is strongly prohibited. Penalty for smoking = 200.00 EUR (requested through Airbnb resolution centre). The penalty covers the expenses of ozone generator to remove the odour, as well as the expenses of accommodating the next guests in a different property for 1 night.
Additional fees apply in case if any fabrics (curtains, sofa, rugs etc.) smell and need special treatment/cleaning.
2. No parties or events allowed (penalty fees will apply).
3. Confetti, glitter and balloons are not allowed in the property. Extra cleaning fee will apply if any of those are used in the property..
4. No unregistered guests allowed (penalty fees will apply for every unregistered guest).
5. No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
Other things to note
There is paid street parking in nearby streets - it costs 3.00 EUR per hour. It is for free from 20:00 - 08:00 on weekdays, from 17:00 on Saturday and whole Sunday is for free.
Origo parking lot, costing 14.00 EUR for 24 hours, is located 5 minute walk from the apartment.
Apartment is located on 4th floor (1st floor = ground floor), there is no elevator, so you will have to climb 3 flights of stairs.
The windows are facing the inner courtyard, so there is no view, but it protects from street noise.
Later check-out's are not possible, but there are luggage storage options (contact us for more information).

As usually - very good location, the place was brand new and spotless, the host quick to respond. The only thing was losing electricity at 11pm and having to wait to get it fixed, but the host was quick to respond and got it in order in about 30mins. The location is right in the heart of Riga, so easily walkable to the old town and other sightseeing spots.
