The neighbourhood
The building is located at the intersection of Blaumaņa Street. This section of the street has gained a new lease of life thanks to many renovated buildings, restaurants, bar, shops while at the same time preserving its historical value. Latvian National opera, the Freedom Monument and the Old Town are at 1,2 km, Vērmane garden at 600m. Public parking available and free of charge from 17:00 of Saturday and all Sunday till 8:00 of Monday. Otherwis Europark parking place located next to the building and cost 8,00 euros per day.
Other things to note
There is a parking lot nearby. It costs 8.00 EUR for whole day (09:00 - 19:00), and 2.00 EUR for the whole night. If you are staying longer, you can get monthly pass for 39.00 EUR. You have to pay by using EuroPark app before entering the parking lot.
Apartment is located on the fifth floor of the building (1st floor = ground floor), there is an elevator. The windows are overlooking the street, so some street noise is to be expected.
