The apartment is located in the quieter part of the city centre, around 20 minute walk from the Old Town, or 10 minutes by public transport.
There are a couple of nice restaurants and pubs nearby, like "Daudz Laša", "Trofeja" and "Echo Sound Bar" just across the street, regularly hosting live music events.
A large grocery store RIMI is only 7 minute walk from the apartment.
1. Smoking inside the property is strongly prohibited. Penalty for smoking = 200.00 EUR (requested through Airbnb resolution center). The penalty covers the expenses of ozone generators to remove the odor, as well as the expenses of accommodating the next guests in a different property for 1 night.
Additional fees apply in case any fabrics (curtains, sofa, rugs etc.) smell and need special treatment/cleaning.
2. No parties or events allowed (penalty fees will apply).
3. Confetti, glitter and balloons are not allowed in the property. Extra cleaning fee will apply if any of those are used in the property.
4. No unregistered guests allowed (penalty fees will apply for every unregistered guest).
5. No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
There is paid street parking in nearby streets - it costs 3.00 EUR per hour. It is for free from 20:00 - 08:00 on weekdays, from 17:00 on Saturday and whole Sunday is for free.
There is also a parking lot that costs 10 EUR for 24 hours around the corner.
Apartment is located on the third floor, there is no elevator.
Central heating season in Riga begins in October and ends in April. Outside this time there is no heating available.
