1 Bathroom A studio apartment in Riga city centre, inside the inner courtyard of a historic building - 4 min to Central Station, 10 min to Old Town. Colourful ceiling and Bauhaus deco makes this studio fun to stay in, with a curtain separating the sleeping area from the living area and the kitchen. This studio apartment can accommodate up to 2 guests. The sofa is not intended for sleeping.

You're right in the middle of it. Central Station is a 4 minute walk, and the international bus station 9 minutes, so you're settled the moment you arrive.
Old Town begins about 10 minutes on foot.
Vērmanes garden, an elegant park with mature trees and quiet benches, is 3 to 5 minutes away - lovely for a picnic or a stroll. Origo shopping center is a 3 minute walk, home to clothing stores, electronics, bookstores, gift shops, bakeries, drug stores, pharmacies and a RIMI supermarket for groceries and other items. Splendid Palace, a classic movie theater that shows arthouse and award-winning films rather than the usual blockbusters, sits close at hand. Riga's Art Nouveau district, with its ornate balconies and carved facades, is an easy walk from the door. Central Market - good for fresh produce, meat, and fish - about 12 minutes away.
1. Smoking inside the property is strongly prohibited. Penalty for smoking = 200.00 EUR (requested through Airbnb resolution centre). The penalty covers the expenses of ozone generator to remove the odour, as well as the expenses of accommodating the next guests in a different property for 1 night.
Additional fees apply in case if any fabrics (curtains, sofa, rugs etc.) smell and need special treatment/cleaning.
2. No parties or events allowed (penalty fees will apply).
3. Confetti, glitter and balloons are not allowed in the property. Extra cleaning fee will apply if any of those are used in the property..
4. No unregistered guests allowed (penalty fees will apply for every unregistered guest).
5. No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
The apartment is very compact, will not be suitable for travellers who are looking for spacious rooms, travellers with children who need space to play/move around, and travellers with pets.
Apartment is on the 1st floor (1st floor = ground floor) - you have to take 4 steps of stairs to access it. There is no elevator in the building.
Heating season in Riga runs roughly from early October to late April, depending on the temperature outside. Portable electric heater is available. It is not always stored in the apartment to save space, but it is always available when requested.
Parking:
There's paid street parking on nearby streets - Alfrēda Kalniņa iela, Merķeļa iela, Elizabetes iela - 3.00 EUR per hour. It's free from 20:00–08:00 on weekdays, from 17:00 on Saturday, and all day Sunday and on national holidays.
A parking lot at Dzirnavu iela 111, a 3 minute walk from the apartment, costs 10 EUR for 24 hours.
We do not have a permit for parking in the courtyard.
