1 Bathroom Located in a freshly renovated historic building 5 minute walk from the Old Town, this compact studio is well placed for solo travellers or a couple visiting Riga. It's a small space (14m2) that works hard: comfortable double bed (140x200cm), fast Wi-Fi, bathroom with a shower and all the basic necessities for shorter or longer stays. The building has just been renovated, preserving some of its original features such as wooden staircase, and a beautiful inner courtyard.
The studio is equipped with:
- Double bed (140x200cm) with double duvet (200x200), pillows, bed linen
- Small dining table that can double as a workspace
- Closet for clothes storage
- Kitchen equipped with induction stove (2 burners), microwave, small fridge (with a very small freezer), Philips Senseo coffee machine, electric kettle, pan, pots, dishes and cutlery
- Bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, hairdryer
- Iron and ironing board
- Wi-Fi
- Self check-in with a keybox
The apartment is located in the city centre, just 5 minute walk from the Freedom Monument and the Old Town.
This places you conveniently near all the major sights. Besides the Old Town, the Art Noveau quarter, which features the most beautiful buildings and local's favourite restaurants, is also only 3 minute walk from the apartment.
Shopping centre Galerija Riga is within few minute walk, featuring RIMI supermarket and multiple clothing stores, restaurants and a gym.
Everything is reachable by foot, but in case if you decide to head to other districts like Āgenskalns or the Open Air Museum, pulbic transport stop is within 3 minute walk.
1. Smoking inside the property is strongly prohibited. Penalty for smoking = 200.00 EUR (requested through Airbnb resolution centre). The penalty covers the expenses of ozone generator to remove the odour, as well as the expenses of accommodating the next guests in a different property for 1 night.
Additional fees apply in case if any fabrics (curtains, sofa, rugs etc.) smell and need special treatment/cleaning.
2. No parties or events allowed (penalty fees will apply).
3. Confetti, glitter and balloons are not allowed in the property. Extra cleaning fee will apply if any of those are used in the property..
4. No unregistered guests allowed (penalty fees will apply for every unregistered guest).
5. No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
Apartment is located on the ground floor of the building (have to climb half flight of stairs, just 5 low steps). The window is facing inner courtyard, there is no view, but it protects the apartment from street noise and from heating up in summer sun.
Heating season in Riga is from October until April, with no set dates (depending on temperatures outside). There is no heating during summer.
PARKING:
We do not have private parking.
Street parking costs 3.00 EUR per hour. It is for free from 20:00 - 08:00 on weekdays, from 17:00 on Saturday and whole Sunday is for free.
Radisson Blu Hotel parking across the street costs 18 EUR for 24 hours.
Cheaper parking - 13.00 EUR for 24 hours, is located 5 minute walk on Baznīcas iela 18/20, however, it is for smaller cars only, as it is very narrow.
